She knew very well that Arthur was wanted and couldn't just go with her, but she asked anyway so she could make Arthur look bad for saying no, and she could play the sad victim. This is the oldest trick in the book. They know how to purr when they need something, but you never see them when it's your turn.....

People act like the game is in modern times. What was she supposed to do? Join a gang of outlaws? Lol. It's 1899. There were not really any ways for a woman like Mary to break free from her father. She couldn't just get a job and move out, lol. She loves Arthur but is stuck between a rock and a hard place. She doesn't call on him to use him, she calls on him because she needs help and there's literally nobody else who she can call on.

Yes very strange how the player shows it in the video! This mission is meant to be played in the beginning of chapter 4, you can’t even access it anymore after the bank job in Saint Denis. Whoever put this video together is stupid, also in terms of shooting

@@jrzurmanful true! Sure you don’t have to make everything perfect but some fresh new clothes and clean guns every now and then would already be a great improvement. You can literally see it with shooting, the aim it totally off and bullets do less damage because the guns are probably filthy as hell. Don’t even get me started on the cores, his dead eye and health are constantly low after 1 shootout and he just never refills it. Players like that always forget about it and pretend like it doesn’t make a difference but the gameplay and entire experience from a viewer’s perspective suffers because of it.

I've been scratching at my third play through and that's how I stumbled on to your channel, love that you guys seem to be so into it. I'm not a HUGE gamer but I did fall in love with this game, the graphics, storyline and gameplay sold me, the game can be as difficult as you want it to be as well. Most missions have a various level of difficulty some harder than others but this is why I enjoy the game, it leaves you room to improve but also accessible enough to beat as a casual. Interesting that there are two modes in the game as well as in good/bad cowboy and I believe the game plays out differently ultimately depending on which side you are on. I remember when I first started the game I thought it must be more difficult to be a "good" outlaw so I was pushing for that, just for the difficulty and I ran over a guy and killed him and immediately was like well rofl I think I'm either going to be a middle of the road cowboy or a bad cowboy because you do a whole lot of horse riding in this game lol

It's really sad if you guys miss the stranger missions with Charlotte , Brother dorkins , hamish and downes. Because without all these Arthur Morgan's character arc is incomplete. If this guy's game movie doesn't show it. Just watch it seperately BEFORE THE END OF THE LAST MISSION. You'll know when it's starting to end.

There's major plot hole in this game. There's money from their job before the game starts the money in Blackwater they could have sent Sadie for the money, they could have got Mary get the money. Looks like the Pinkertons don't even know John, he could get the money.

you guys are too hard on Mary, and Arthurs love for her. You have to remember a few things. For one, life is incredibly restrictive for women. Mary has little options for a decent life beyond marrying someone who can give it to her. Mary always wanted Arthur to leave the gang and make a life together, but Arthur chose the gang, and Mary had to choose a different husband. Was Mary's choice a mistake? She didnt really have much of a choice, she didnt want to live the life he chose. And for what its worth, Mary was trying to save arthur his ultimate heart break. She knew he had a good heart, but people like Dutch wouldnt let him know that about himself. Dutch used him, like he does everyone.

The optional mission with Mary in in Ch 4, before the failed bank robbery, not in Ch 5 after they've returned from Cuba, and yes, it makes a difference. I don't know where you're getting these videos, but they're not very good. You're doing a good job with the commentary, but the poor videos you're picking to represent this game are killing my interest in this series.
