You just watched Dutch lose his mind. Hosea was the balance to the chaos, now the boys are lost on a slave island with no direction but Dutch’s rage. I love this god damn story so much. Watching Hosea get shot like a fucking dog in the street will break me every time

I believe Lenny was like a son to Arthur. Arthur was always encouraging him and telling him he was an equal member of the gang. Back in my childhood, I went with my grandpa and some uncles to set out trout lines on Lake Mary near the MS River. It is pretty much a swamp and the mosquitoes were terrible. I had this bright idea of pouring some gas on a rag and putting it around my neck. It kept the skeeters off but blistered my neck, lol. We heard that a couple of guys went missing that night but hey found them in the morning. They hit a submerged log and their boat capsized. They spent all night in a cypress tree and they were ate up from the mosquitoes.

This part of the game was a total shocker at first playthrough. I always do all other sidemissions,hunting, treasurequests etc before this part of the game because I like having the whole gang assambled at the camp.

1:38 This is one of the many know-nothing liberal bits of bulls hit based on mindless, uncritical acceptance of establishment "education" that I hate about this game and so much else of the world nowadays, and worse yet, I think much of it is the product of those who aren't even from here, but nonetheless believe they are more aware of the reality of things than those who are, never imagining that there could be any ulterior motive behind what they are told by the system, especially as of the past several decades.
@TNTGamingonline
@TNTGamingonline Ай бұрын
While I understand your perspective, I think it's important to recognize that not everything in the game or in life is strictly tied to political labels like 'liberal' or 'conservative.' Dutch's statement in the game reflects a historical context and serves as a portrayal of his character's beliefs within the narrative. Just like in real life, characters in stories can express a wide range of viewpoints, and it's up to the audience to interpret and analyze them. As for the broader discussion on education and perspectives, you're right that critical thinking and questioning the information we're presented with are essential. It's healthy to examine different viewpoints and consider their motivations, regardless of where they come from. Ultimately, Red Dead Redemption 2, like any work of art, encourages us to think critically about the world it portrays and the ideas it presents. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts, and I hope we can continue to have respectful discussions about topics like this in the future!

“Those who aren’t even from here” to quote Shakespeare, Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian Mckellen “And that you sit as kings in your desires, Authority quite silenced by your brawl, And you in ruff of your opinions clothed; What had you got? @@DannyBedo How 'bout you keep your pretentious nonsense to yourself, especially given that you don't even know what is being discussed and, being a mindless head of cattle, just launch into your kneejerk reactionary blithering? I could totally destroy the entirety of the defense of those you think I was referring to, but of course, you have the preponderance of the liberal poisoning of western society for the past several decades, and the manifestation of that in KZbin's unjustifiably policies to prevent you or any stray dupes that really believe it (due to the fact that they, as I once was, are conscientious and project their conscience upon others, never imagining that anyone would be so insidious as to portray the most wicked as the ultimate "victims" and the most conscientious and justice-upholding as the ultimate "evil oppressors"!!!!) from EVER being confronted with that reality!!!
@backforblood3421
@backforblood3421 Ай бұрын
@@TNTGamingonline I don't know what you mean, because it is readily apparent to me that it MOST DEFINITELY DOES NOT encourage critical thinking, but conveys the fruits of the diametric opposite of critical thinking - uncritical adoption of what one is told by "official" sources presumed to possess legitimate authority and to be interested in inculcating the truth - as if it were absolutely indisputable truth. It also gives some insight into the vitriolic and mortal hatred that is instilled in such mindless, conscienceless cattle on the basis of their unerring belief in what they are told. For example, character Charles is shown "unaliving" a man with a shotgun during a side mission simply for hunting and not making use of the carcasses of bison. The character is CLEARLY portrayed as though he were justified in doing so, despite it being an inhumanly wrongful and unjust thing to do, including his being backed up by Arthur - THE DIAMETRIC OPPOSITE of the way the characters absurdly respond with shock and horror to Dutch's "unaliving" and disposal of the remains of Bronte. Charles is depicted in a favorable light throughout the entirety of the game, in fact. Likewise, I just became aware within the past day of something from an earlier Rockstar game - specifically Grand Theft Auto 5 - which was a matter of ABSOLUTELY unjustifiable, "unaliving" overreaction to characters who are a misguided, well-meaning, tremendously defamatory parody of persons concerned about border security. Before anyone just goes into their condescending, unjustifiable "that's just GTA and Rockstar" response to my mentioning something crazy in a GTA game, dismissing the entire matter, this was NOT a matter of the typical outlandish kind of thing to be expected in these games. It was portrayed as a request made by a character of a certain ancestry that is one of those that liberals/leftists love to coddle, who was depicted, of course, as the voice of reason and of totally sober, rational mentality, TOTALLY conveying the idea that he had the moral high ground!!!
