Courage was the stuff of nightmares (specially with the Slab and the Moon episodes) but I still cried like a baby when it ended and remember it fondly. You could tell how impactful it was in our age by how many dogs named "Courage" were running around at the time ❤️

For some reason I thought the space chicken was the first episode, but maybe that was the pilot? I know they did several shorts on the Cartoon Cartoon block that later became full series.

Space chicken was a pilot(which DVD and VHS is on Scooby witches ghost I know) but that was the pilot. Then we got the 1st episode. Which for some reason I thought the shadow episode was ep1😂

Eustace is American and Muriel is supposed to be Scottish. And the show came out in November of 1999. As someone born in 2000, I did watch this growing up though :)

To be honest even though this did take place in America because Eustace drives on the left hand side of his truck Muriel seemed to be from England or something because she had that British accent in her voice and she drinks tea which a lot of people up there drink.
