They were worn by court officals in the 17th and 18th centuries and are still worn by judges mainly in Australia, Great Britain, and other Commonwealth countries. Similar to the black gowns worn by American judges, bench wigs were part of a lifestyle that represents the dignity and seriousness of judges during trails and proceedings and most of them are still worn today to keep that judicial tradition alive.

I went to court with a friend in the 80's and as the judge is going through his file he yells at him. "Sir by now I'm surprised you're not on the payroll as often as you're here." He gave him 180 days and I drove his car home.

Hey my guy love the reactions you do, would love to see you react to a British TV show called SAS Who dares wins, its a show where a group of ex SAS soldiers offer everyday people the chance to go through a sort of training schedule that they create based off real SAS training. To see who really has what it takes to be special forces it's pretty brutal and shocking to say the least, the last challenge before the final is usually resistance to interrogation tactics (basically how to get tortured without giving up info) also they take part in sickeners which are basically marathons on steroids until an x amount of people quit. They usually say before one this carries on until 4 quit. It's a great show

Look up the show "Bong Appétit" it's off the air now, but you probably can catch it somewhere streaming online. It's a show about high-end food infused with different strains of weed. Saeed and his fellow mates stay high the whole show! They get highend chefs to cook. One time, a Rabbi's sons brought him to the show, to eat Jewish food infused with weed, and my man was lit! So funny. You should see all the weed in their pantry. Every strain you can imagine. Jars and Jars of it. Sadly, they replaced it as a food competition, and the original cast mates left.
