Well, that is to be expected. In Nigeria there is no justice. Only naira works. I would have been shocked if they ruled in her favor. However, she has made her point and I totally believe her story and those who have sense know that Busola’s story is true. If anyone still allows their young daughters anywhere near Biodun and something happens, they only have themselves to blame. Busola has sounded the alarm that this man is not who he projects to be. Those who know him are aware what he is capable of. Just because the court threw out the charges does not mean Biodun is innocent and it is typical in Nigeria to punish victims that speak out.

I don't even know the pastor and his relationship with the woman. But we should be careful the way we believe women and their stories. It could happen to anybody. It happened in Queens college when a woman was holding the security man and was still shouting that the man was molesting her simply because the security man prevented the daughter with eye lashes from entering the school compound. Who knows what would have happened if they were alone. Thank God that people were there to witness the Genesis of the whole show. Let's be careful the way we side. It could be misleading.

I believe Busola as someone who almost had a similar encounter. Many women in Nigeria suffer this fate but most of them keep quiet because of the shame and embarrassment and also it is almost impossible to prove. This is because it usually happens when one is not expecting it- when one is not camera- ready. It is very difficult to come out and say someone raped you-especially in Nigeria- because of people like you that say women like to lie about such things. Busola knew what she was putting herself up for by braving up to speak out. Thank God for her husband. Most women are quiet because they know it can cost them their reputation, marriage, job, family etc. Even if it were consensual- it was rape. A 16 year old girl at home in her nightgown cannot be consenting to a Married man in his bed who left his own house, drove from across town to her house. Busola has put herself in harms way by exposing this evil. Men who say she is lying are either the type that go after young girls or in denial. Even if she brought all the evidence- like Ese Walters & Stephanie Otobo did in Suleimans case, people still said they were lying. I am certain that even if Busola had a video & pictures - (in a country where a minister for works can say that Nigerian roads are not bad despite the obvious horrible road conditions ) people will still accuse her of lying & trying to ‘bring down the man of god’. The court threw out the case based on it being statute barred- not on the merits. Busola case was not tried & other victims not given a chance to testify-(because there were other women who spoke up but ignored)and so it was just dismissed based on technicality- that does not mean Biodun was vindicated or declared innocent. That is normal for any case and of course being a wealthy influential man, that is normal in a corrupt society like Nigeria where nothing works. The important thing here is someone stuck out her neck to expose this sexual abuse epidemic going on in some Nigerian churches- particularly COZA in this case. The alarm has been sounded- if you like- send your daughters there- the choice is yours. The prudent see danger ahead and avoid it, while the foolish walk right into it despite seeing the danger.

My worry is that there are a lot of cases like that with solid evidences such as the young girl that came out to say that her father sexes her before attending to her needs. Nigerians will not see that one but always looking for ways to pull down prominent personalities. These young ones that have cases, how many human rights activists and lawyers have we seen fighting for them? People just want to be prominent by all means. Nigeria is still backward.

I don’t really understand this expiry of date, I know Nigeria and America are separate countries but look at the Cosby case, over 20 yrs but was still find guilty, rape happens everyday but yet they don’t report it every day, women take time to heal

From the onset I knew she was not telling the truth, their was something fishy about the story, I don't support rape, note I am not in support of the pastor but believe me this bisola story was all made up, I hate lies and bisola lied that is why she did not get justice, because God will always vendicate the righteous, do you mean all the judges are brain less, every right thinking person will see the truth, kemi was right in her investigation.

Pray let no one accuse u faulty in life for any, I have seen some one without evidence winning a case at the dieing minutes because the suspect mistakenly told the court the truth, that is because God was on her side.
