I met Courtney Cox very early on in both of our careers when one of my original bands opened for The Iron Maidens. I was floored by her playing, and have been a fan ever since. Our paths have crossed many times over the years, and she has become a treasured friend. I SO admire her playing--she's unquestionably the real deal--and jumped at the chance to get to do something more significant together when she sent me this gorgeous harmonized solo she had written.

I have been a rabid fan of guitar since I first saw jimmy page in the early 70's. A major turning point was seeing steve morse in the late 70's. Such a beautiful thing to see how every guitar player develops their own stylings regardless of their technical expertise. Gretchen I love your style and hope you will accept this as the huge compliment it is meant to be, that I can "feel" some steve morse influence in your playing and it gives me such a smile! It's so nice to some women play their instruments and actually enjoy it and watch themselves play when do many of the younger generation especially are far more concerned with smiling for the camera. Many aren't very good players anyways I always liked the iron maidens though and had respect for the. Cause you could always tell the genuinely loved maiden and did and damn fine job of playing those shows without having to model for the camera and if they did I wouldn't give a shit anyways. As a man and a guitarist myself, I don't find it attractive or give a single fuck if the opposite sex play guitar. But when they do. The only women or aspects of playing I find attractive is their legit love for the art and to see them actually enjoying the instruments. When you're a guitar player it's awesome to see your fingers play and extremely fucking crucial if you want your technique to stay efficient. Sorry for the rant. I got much love and respect for you guys. Cheers and keep up the guitar videos
