Thanks for the reaction, RTTW. You are correct that Courtney is truly shy. Both her grandad and dad have indicated that, outside of interaction with her family, she had problems interacting with others because of her severe shyness. Fortunately, with continued performances through the years, she will probably outgrow that shyness. Regarding her dance moves, Courtz has stated that she got her moves from watching James Brown. She embodies all of those R&B & rock n roll greats with quirky-cool moves like Brown, Tina Turner, Mick Jagger, Steven Tyler, Janis Joplin, etc. With respect to what she's up to, after AGT she signed with Simon's label, Syco, which has made stars of acts like Fifth Harmony, Camila Cabello and One Direction. She then appeared in AGT Champions and performed her 1st original, "Pretty Little Thing" which I HIGHLY recommend you react to. Afterward, she performed a couple of live covers at a Struts concert in Newcastle, UK. I highly recommend you listen to her performance of Janis Joplin's "Piece of my Heart" in that concert - kzbin.info/www/bejne/eqKZiYFon7hkqac She was then signed by Woodstock to appear at their 50th Anniversary festival in upstate NY in mid-August. Unfortunately, the concert fell apart due to issues securing the venue. Most recently, Courtney was brought up to sing at a concert by Stevie Van Zandt, Bruce Springsteen's guitarist on the E Street Band. In the meantime she's been recording her first album with a couple of sessions in Sweden and one in London and she's indicated that album should drop early this coming year. Maybe 1 or 2 singles from that album will be released at the end of this year? She's also released 3 covers in the past couple of months on her newly-created Vevo account which shows just how much Courtney has improved. Good to see you starting to join the Courtney train and watch the best new artist become a superstar! She has amazing performances before & after AGT. Some of the comments may already have said this, but she is recording her 1st album with some really talented folks in Sweden and England. There is a plethora of amazing videos of Courtney outside AGT. I'll mention just a few: at 9 or 10 years old in studio performance's of Elvis's "Can't Help Falling in Love" and Michael Jackson's "Man in the Mirror" to onstage performances I believe at 12 years old of The Jackson 5's "Who's Loving You" and her British Voice Kids blind audition of Tina Turner's "Nutbush City Limits". She just turned 15 in July and recently release three covers that show that the rock star qualities that make her so unique and so awesome have actually matured and improved. Check out "Sign of the Times", "Sucker" and "Someone You Loved". She is presently recording an album which I can't wait for and I hope I get to see her in what I am sure would be an awesome concert someday. P.S. You were worried about her ability to sustain a high energy performance, I think in credit to her dedication, she does long distance running to improve her endurance.

Courtney's moves aren't as random as one might think. The arm swinging is much like Joe Crocker, the hopping is from ' Baby Workout ' by Jackie Wilson. Some have said her foot work is like Mike Jaeger. Courtney herself says she imitated the young James Brown as he used the whole stage. All this movement with the singing puts an incredible demand on her breathing and coordination. She did this as she was busking for tips and needed a way to attract attention. It's paid off big time for her. Her performances are very challenging and she runs regularly to build up her cardiovascular strength and endurance.

Yep. Now she is currently working on an album which should be released early next year, maybe a little earlier. She’s 15 now and has grown up massively since and her voice has deepened and matured a lot. She has much more control now than when in agt, she has released 3 covers on her new VEVO channel, really showcasing her vocals.
