Oui entièrement d'accord, la technique, le contrôle vocal de Courtney sont stupéfiants et nous laissent sans voix ...🎼

She is twenty right now. She has that deep tone and a mature sound. To me it is wonderful. Can she ever belt out a sound.

Coutrney was born July 6, 2004. She's 20 now. The depth and richness of her vocal abilities owe to two things: Her own determination to be the best singer she can be, and the expertise of her voice coach, Julie Miles, with whom Courtney has been working since she was 11 years old.

Her music video for this song last is my favourite music video on 2023, and this is a masterpiece in a live performance. I will forever be a fan of hers, and cannot wait for her album to drop.

Courtney sings like Courtney. She is unique and in my ipion, she should be on mainstream tv shows. She can out perform most if not all artists of the last two centuries.

You are absolutely right as usual, the depth and control of Courtney Hadwin's voice is far beyond her years, and a soft and slow ballad like this is great for exhibiting those subtle qualities. I'll always love when she rocks it the best though, and her new version of Christmas Rocks is one of my favorites ever. It was the only one of her 5 original singles last year without a video, so the Metropolis studio version is a special treat. Thank you for your excellent reaction to this beautiful video. Hope your Christmas was Merry and have a Happy New Year!🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

Hi. Great reaction. You are as much in awe of Courtney’s vocal control as the rest of us are. IMO, the greatest vocals in music, and the greatest vocal versatility. You mention Courtney’s spectacular banger, ‘Jagged’. That song, along with this gorgeous ballad, just shows again that Courtney can sing almost any style exquisitely. Add to that her incredible performing skills, and every time you hear her sing, it is a truly magical musical experience. Courtney has now released four live versions of her originals from Metropolis Studios. These were done to provide something special for her fans until her album singles start dropping early next year, and each one has been magnificent.

I think the Metropolis sessions also are meant to serve the purpose of being a shakedown cruise for the band. Rehearsals are one thing, but there's no substitute for the experience of functioning as a unit in front of cameras.

@ I agree. I’m sure that was also one of the benefits of doing the live sessions as well. In addition to getting some actual performing sessions with the band , also need to make sure the band chemistry is good.

@@edwarddevogelear4432 Absolutely. I've been thinking that the "Christmas Rocks" session in particular must have been a great bonding experience.

Thank you for this quick reaction! Love this song, and where her voice takes it. This does NOT sound like a 20-year old young lady. Totally agree with your description and your reaction. Love this young singer-songwriter. SERIOUS native talent. Too bad industry couldn't just let her do her thing while millions upon millions were still paying attention to her. I truly despise what music industry has become, what it does to artists, how it treats them, steals from them.

She has had an amazingly mature singing voice for well over half of her life,... quite literally. You should seriously see her cover of Adele's Rolling in the Deep, when she was just 9 or 10 years old. The video is still here on YT somewhere, just do a search for "Courtney Hadwin, Adele, Rolling in the Deep cover". If you see a video that was shot on a phone with her in a lounge, or something that, that's it. Back to this song, I love the tone, it has a real 'smoky-lounge bar' sound. I can almost smell the cigarette smoke in the air, I just love how deep, rich and husky her voice sounds.

Very insightful reaction! Courtney's voice not only sounds mature, it's quality is astoundingly unique and emotive besides. Courtney in live performance is peerless, IMO, as we will see in 2025 after her album is released and stage performances begin.

if you like Courtney's songs, then maybe you could play her songs on your radio show. She deserves air play from all radio shows.
