See, the thing I admire about Courtney is her ability to sing. That is its own talent. You get people with awful voices, and others with nice ones, but sometimes those that have nice voices sound just as bad as those that don't because they don't really know how to sing properly

Not trying to be super negative, because this obviously isn't a scenario where Courtney had practiced at all or was trying super hard, but as someone who knows music and vocal theory she was superrrr flat through this song, it wasn't a great demonstration of her capabilities if she has them. She might have a clear voice but the technique was not there for this one, which again makes sense because she hadn't prepared and was just trying to hit the notes and play the game.
