I get that, it never feels good to be handed a consolation prize. That being said, that can actually be a great way to meet someone that might be into you. If the girl you pursued isn’t in to you, that’s already done and you don’t lose anything by checking out her friend. If she knows what you’re into she’ll point you towards someone that she’s already vetted for you. Plus, if she thinks you’re totally lame she isn’t going to hook you up with a friend. And don’t forget, you still have every right to say you’re not interested if her friend isn’t cute. If you think of it more like a nice service she can provide, like networking for work, you might feel less insulted and even get something positive out of it

I work a respectable job (which most people would say holds a good amount of prestige), I work out, good looking, educated, kind, well rounded... but my career field doesn't pay well. Not to be cynical, but it's just income for most women. Personally, I'm fine with that. If the majority of women are this shallow and disrespectful then I wouldn't want them anyhow. Drs sound nice in theory but my cousin is a surgeon and he's been divorced 3 times cause he pretty much always works and never really has family time. Also they do make good money eventually after say age 40 but they're also usually paying down a lot of debt from school. They're also often times kind of jerks in their personal lives from the stress of the job and smart people can sometimes be annoyed with the general stupidity of people around them.

If you want to get really scientific about all this, you are eventually going to need an older sample set to interview (maybe between 35 and 45).

So true. As people age, their priorities in what they value in a partner change. Also, women from different countries will have different answers, so it is important as a man to know what country the woman is from. Many of the traits an American woman would find attractive would be unnecessary or irrelevant elsewhere and vice versa. For example, in America, few women care if you can dance. In Latina America, if you can't dance you lose several points. In Europe, if you speak multiple languages, that bumps you up a lot especially if your an American b/c it is seen as being more open-minded and valuing other cultures.

I'm a 4, 5'8", used to date a few women/yr, that is funny, outgoing, confident, a great listener, has a large network of friends from different categories - (business, community, sports, games, cultural backgrounds, etc), money/investments are OK (all obtained legally and thru businesses where we help our customers & clients), not a handyman, not a fit guy, still have all my hair, volunteer and am inordinately private. Men - plz remember that every person is an individual and when you meet one understand that at that exact time of their life they could be looking for Mr. right now and NOT Mr. right. I am EXTREMELY THANKFUL and full of gratitude that my wife said yes to that 1st date. Always remember that what a woman does and what a woman says are two very different things. For example the one with "hes a 10 but dates multiple women" like that question is kind of pointless. When he dates multiple women then that automatically means exactly that. He is dating women. Do you really think that the girls from this video are part of some sort of extraordinary subset of women that wouldnt fall for this guy even tho they said he goes down to a 2 or 6 or whatever.. If those women actually came into some of these situations a lot of them would act very differently than what they will admit to in this video. Women say what makes them look good. Not what helps men. Dating is such complex multivariate equation that simplifying it down to 1 or 2 dimensions is just.. I feel like it's mostly pointless as you will almost never come into a situation where all that differs between men is for example their looks and their income.

So I don't know how useful these videos really are in getting the actual honest perspective. An anonymous questionnaire would probably be better for that.

What does a woman getting all these things bring to the table that they wouldn't bring to the table with a guy who makes average income? Dating in 2023 is so selfish. This isn't even necessarily a gripe about the money specifically, but rather how selfish dating is. People only date based on what they get out of it. They only give, because they expect to GET. Even sexually, a lot of women in my experience only "give" simply as a means to get what they want too. There is no selflessness in love or dating any more. I want a best friend. A mother to my children. A person to walk through every step of life with me. Partner in crime. Someone who I would die for and who would die for me. Someone who would love me if I was paralyzed and living off of the government checks. Someone I can give all of me to and will accept me, flaws and all. There is no hope any more. Love is dead. Traditional Christian marriage where I make an oath in front of God to stay by a woman's side until death. Its so far away that I can't even see it any more. I give up.

What really bugs me about this generation is that Nobody seems to truly understand how much of a privilege it is to be living in this country and in this time period. We take having clean water for granted. To the point that we look at the men who make it possible as “less attractive”. think about it, tradesmen have prevented more deaths than doctors.
