Consciousness of guilt. Karen Read also told John's niece at 5 am to call Mr. Camerano to come pick her up, because she knew that John was never coming home. And even at 5 am, Mr. Camerano, Kerry Roberts, and Jen McCabe all removed their shoes out of respect for John. Mr. Camerano also shovelled the snow that got in the garage because Karen Read left the door open so that John would not be upset when he got home. Lally robotically repeats himself, and blatantly asks jurors to disregard components of evidence presented, including omitting the fact of failure to secure crime scene, which taints entire investigation. Even the claims of her saying "oh my God I hit him' versus 'did I hit him?', such statements do not indicate any intention to kill him. Even dooosch-bagg proctor very clearly states he doesn't think he can prove intentional versus accidental impact, even if you believe her car did hit him. No basis to charge murder from any of that evidence. Him suggesting that how she showed grief is evidence of guilt "why did she act like that?" - throw Lally's comments down the crapper. He sounds like he's reciting from a court report, no suggestion that he strongly believes what he's saying. It's almost irrelevant if her car hit him; the evidence is suspect, there is exculpatory evidence to rebut, and mountain of reasonable doubt. Best Lally can hope for is a recalcitrant juror (maybe even a local with a vested interest) forcing a mistrial.

It's crazy that the people who are screaming guilty can completely ignore video from John's ring camera ... This video proves that when Karen was leaving in the morning, to search for him ... she did hit his Traverse. They showed the wheel move. And then as she's driving out, you see RED. Explain how a cracked tail light turned into numerous pieces missing and left at the crime scene, plus embedded into John's clothes? That light should already be shattered and gone when she's leaving John's house- we should see bright light on the ring cam. The defense had the video enhanced so it was clearer to see. They didn't do any weird things to it. But even when you look at the original video that's weathered ... it's RED. What the defense did not do is invert any video making us THINK we are looking at the passenger side- only to realize it's the driver's side. The police did that. The defense didn't show us a video with time skipping, and foggy people appearing out of nowhere behind the car and walking off. The police did that. The defense also didn't take Karen's car and wait 5 days before taking official photos of it. This is a crap show of an investigation. The black SUV was already parked in front of 34 Fairview before they pulled up. He testified that they were there approximately 5 minutes and saw a woman alone in the black SUV as they were leaving. Karen would've left right about a minute after Ryan Nagel. Jen calls John right then at 12:29am and it's listed as answered in the phone records. So how is he on the phone with Jen if he's been hit by Karen and is unconscious in the snow? @@Jessrenee294 The children had every right to testify about their uncle's relationship with Karen Read. He was their absolute rock. It would have done more harm if they were prevented from testifying. At least testifying made them feel they were honoring their beloved uncle by giving important information to the jury, and it was important. The prosecutor and judge made sure they were protected and not seen by the public.

I feel like we should be throwing rotten tomatoes at this joker. He completely misinterpreted Jackson's words in closing. Jackson was telling the jury that the Commonwealth was hoping that everyone would just "look the other way" and just disregard the facts and evidence that proves that Karen DID NOT KILL JOHN. The voicemails are irrelevant. She may have been mad at him for whatever reason because they're both human beings and are not perfect, but that doesn't make her a murderer. Physical injuries do not add up to being hit by vehicle. I believe the FBI expert over the trooper. The FBI expert is more credible. Anything that is said by Proctor and his gang of his sick twisted troopers have absolutely no credibilty.

the voicemails are relevant because if she knew he was dead by her hand and would never listen to them, why on earth would she leave messages and call 53 times?

How strange she hit his car the same night

Yes that is the one thing that really bothers me. What are the odds? Oh they ALL missed the video. Sure the wheel moved but snow fell too. They all missed the falling snow and quit a bit fell on the ground after she hit the car. Rewatch that video. You have to look at the ground between the bumpers as she pulls away from the car she hit. It dumps on the ground very easy to see. But like a magic trick most people (including me) on first first missed it looking in the wrong place to see it.
