Let this be a lesson. Leave toxic abusive relationships. It doesnt serve you and stop bringing children into it.

@@christinakaur8766thanks Columbo! "Leave abusive relationships" can mean the man too. Anyone who is in an unhealthy relationship needs to step away. Whether it's because you can't control your temper or you're on the receiving end of the anger... All parties should bow out and get themselves help. Domestic abusers can get counseling, and people who choose abusive partners can also get counseling. Both are in need of help to learn to lead healthy lives. 😎

It's not that easy.
@michelemahon141
@michelemahon141 Жыл бұрын
@@pmshea63No, it’s not. It took me yrs of saving, scrimping, sneaking, hiding, going w/out food so I could save it, burying keys, documents, phone, money, medical supplies etc being put on waitlists for emergency shelters for those that would accept my son, who was 12 (bc most women’s shelters don’t allow male children over 11, 12) and 3 daughters, one was 15, slowly transferring policies, getting signed up for any assistance we could get, finding a shelter that would accept my dog (bc abusers use pets to hurt or control) etc etc etc I tried to leave 3 times and each time I failed bc I had no way to continue to care for my kids after the 1st week or so. Every time I failed, I was punished, so I learned that you can’t just simply walk out, especially with children. Plus, the mental, financial and physical health abuse/needs (chronic health conditions w/you or your kids ie my youngest daughter was a type 1 diabetic) also have the effect of invisible chains. You begin to believe what they tell you. You doubt yourself, you lose your support system, you feel trapped..you ARE trapped. This is one thing I wish more emphasis would be placed upon. It causes frustration and anger towards the victim for not “just leaving” or going back. It’s EXTREMELY hard to find an emergency shelter if you’re single, if you have male children, the age of the children, if you have pets, etc and even is you do, trying to get long-term support (past the first mnth or so depending on space availability, incoming victims, shelter’s financial situation) to assist in getting a home, getting important documents (like social security cards, driver’s licenses, bank accounts, birth certificates-abusers like to take or prevent the victim from having them in order to trap them), find transportation, food, utilities, enrolling children in school, changing doctors, etc etc. I could go on and on obviously…. OP, I’m just trying to make a point..not trying to argue or say that you’re wrong, but until you’re faced with situations like that, you probably don’t/wouldn’t know the difficulties victims go through and why it’s just not that simple. I do agree with the OP, regarding PREVENTING it, before you get in to a serious relationship. However, even that isn’t an easy answer as they hide their true motives and personalities until it’s “too late” and it’s not all at once. It builds slowly with time. They use that to make you doubt what’s happening and you start to believe that *maybe* some things are actually your fault. I know I did. I truly believed that. I don’t have an opinion on this case, however. I’m not going to say she was lying about abuse, but I’ll certainly say that it’s far more complicated than “she should have just left”.

Let’s be real they were both toxic and probably beat on each other. But she was not scared of that man especially on that day! No woman leaves another man’s 3 children with her new baby daddy and her new born to go out from 11pm till 11am. She came home telling that man the baby was not his and all other wicked things, you would not tell someone who just babysat for you those kind of things especially if you were scared of him. She needs to go sit down and think about her taking that man’s life and involving her children in such a awful situation that will stay with them forever. I hope they heal and grow up to be amazing people.

Not surprised. I do think he was abusive, but I think she was likely as well, seeing as how she behaved on the footage. This was a tragically toxic situation that had changed her life forever and damaged her kids. She was out all night long after having a 6 week old baby, so I’m not buying that he was so controlling. Hope she gets therapy for her anger and to heal and then go home, get the kids therapy and focus on breaking this toxic cycle in her kids lives.

She wasn't in fear when she choice to go out to the club, have him babysit all her kids. She knows that it would have been a fight when she came home after clubbing and drinking. Why didn't she shoot him in the foot or hand? Now she's going to prison, the kids will have this trauma to deal with and that kid for him will grow up not having a father, killed by the mother. He shows up the next morning & he's drunk & wants to go to sleep. They get into a verbal argument slinging insults @ each other & now he's really mad. Instead of letting her wait for her Uber ride he goes out to his car retrieves a pipe & gun then hits her with the bar & then proceeds to shoot her & she dies.You're damn right they'd throw his butt in prison for life if not the Death Penalty. This is entire case is absolutely atrocious and her sentence was reprehensible. Let me get this straight, the father of one of her many children first agrees to let her go out "clubbing" with her thot friends. She calls him and says they got into a fight and than shuts her phone off. (Excuse to get piped down by another man). Her baby daddy is so alarmed he started calling family members, hospitals, and friends trying to find out her status. This Jezebel stays out all night and contacts him the following morning and as any man would be he is upset, angry and probably fed up with her antics and buffoonery. She calls the cops because she told them he threatened her, the cops escort her home and the couple have a verbal altercation outside the home. The cops tell her to put her firearm inside her vehicle which she does but minutes later retrieves it along with a tire iron. She hits the baby daddy with the tire iron and then shoots him in the head in front of the kids. She admits to police that she hit him and shot him and is arrested. If this isn't malice murder I don't know what it. They say she could be sentenced to as little as probation! Black women scream they are the least protected but in turn act and behave in a manner that actually causes significant harm, injury or death to the men they say don't protect them. Had the roles been reversed we all know this man would get a lethal injection. More men with means and options no matter how badly we want to be with women who share our reflection realize that it's a lost cause. They want male protection, and provision but refuse to fall under male leadership and authority. I for one am done dating western women. I will have a situaionship/entanglement but NEVER will i ever date or marry on period. They don't wanna be saved, don't save them.

Wait. I'm also a domestic violence survivor and just because you wouldn't or would do something while being abused doesn't mean everyone is going to do exactly as you did. If the abuser can manage to gain some type of leverage over the abused and often times they do, the abused will most likely leave and come back multiple times before something major happens.
