Why would anyone want to hear anything she has to say? She murdered her precious little girl, threw her away like garbage, then blamed her father who had never done anything but adore his grand daughter and provide a safe place for her to live. My Granddaughter is 8 years old and she didn't come running to me after I hollered for her 3 times. My heart started beating a 100 miles an hour. I knew she was in the backyard so I went out back and I yelled at her for not answering me. I couldn't imagine waiting 31 days or even 31 minutes to report her missing. I miss her when she goes to her dad's house for 3 days. I seen Casey Anthony's house when I lived in Florida and I saw where the baby was found. I thought, how could anyone think for 1 minute she wasn't guilty. The place little Caylee was found, was practically 30 seconds away from the house.

The case was circumstantial. They had no hardcore proof. It is the job of the state to prove beyond a reasonable doubt.. the state did not do that. It isn't the jury, it is the defense, it is the prosecution that should and must bear the brunt of the blame.

@@Calmchoasa I honestly can't say I agree or disagree with the verdict, the reason being is because I wasn't in that courtroom and I didn't hear or see all the evidence. I agree. The prosecution sucked in this trial. The state should have waited to bring charges and got more evidence. Sometimes it's better to not rush to a grand jury. It seems to me there are a lot of people that don't understand how the system works. The system worked just as it was created to work in this case. This case was a prime example. It is not a defendant's place to prove or disprove anything in court. It is their job to create reasonable doubt and that reasonable doubt doesn't have to be based on facts or even be the truth.

I swore to myself that I wouldn’t devout another minute to Casey Anthony- I just couldn’t after spending so much of my energy watching her trial and waiting for justice - only to be let down beyond measure. I recognized that it was actually negatively impacting my daily life - I had never actually hated a perfect stranger as strongly as I did before, and though I don’t feel it’s without merit, Bc my heart hurt so badly knowing that a perfectly innocent child was taken felm this world regarding of how it happened- never will you convince me it wasn’t from the selfish and negligence of this so called mother, especially when my son who was the exact same age, practically sharing the same bday, who is now a 17 yo young man. I still don’t want to contribute anything that could benefit Casey Anthony in a monetary or even potentially positive manner, but I’m intrigued and though our justice system failed Caylee - I have to have some solace that Casey will get hers some day, when if it’s just the public opinion that no matter how hard they try to reconcile or attempt to persuade otherwise will always know that she in the very least was a terrible mother that didn’t attempt to protect her own child from the harm that befell her, though I still believe she had everything to do with why Caylee is no longer with us
