@@killsmith Which... they shouldn't be lol. No worries, it's a game, I get it. But yeah playing as UNSC should be friggin hard mode for sure. "We are hopelessly, *hilariously* outgunned." :D

Before Bungie left Microsoft, the UNSC tore covenant ships to shreds but were horrendously outnumbered in every engagement. I'm not sure how you reconcile the later stuff that has humanity outgunned and slaughtered in seconds with the bits of information from the games where a dozen covenant ships are being taken out just looking at a Mac gun. The Pillar of Autumn is surrounded by a fleet and Cortana says she'll get 6 kills and then the ship is pummeled from all sides by plasma fire and then crashes onto the ring and still has survivors onboard. The covenant should have much lower point costs and Mac guns should do way more damage in the mod if anyone cared to keep it lore accurate.

@@Skenderbeuismyhero several issues there, reading books like the fall of reach (Bungie era) among other books, it is blatantly stated the UNSC is out-tech, out-gunned, and outnumbered. The covnent had a pulseaser that could slice 6 ships beyond the realistic range of MAC rounds. That wouldn't be fun to fight. Covenant plasma torpedoes would instantly melt cruisers with ones salvo. That wouldn't be fun to fight. lore accuracy was never in the cards for many reasons. If you spent hours in the fleet editor crafting ships and then a MAC round insta killed you, then the game would just be "who finds each other first" to line up a shot. There would be no back and forth, it wouldn't be fun. Even in the largest battle (battle for reach) in lore, the battle was over in minutes because the lore isn't built for back and forth battles for 20-60 minutes like Nebulous is built for. The whole battle was over in less than 20 minutes with hundreds of ships on each side. So with that, we go for "homage to the lore" and not lore accurate because Nebulous is not the game for a lore accurate Halo recreation.

@@killsmith I'll admit, only read a couple of the books back in the day. In general the lore is extremely inconsistent between the games and comics and books and I like how you have it balanced at the moment for gameplay. Now if I could find a game to join to try out my builds.
