@@gregoryadkins2213 True. I think that you are right. But now that he's @ USC, he can hire a better coordinator and get better talent because of the money and being in the recruiting capital of the country. They can turn their defense around and be really good. And if not, why not be just like the 2017 Rose Bowl team that beat Penn State 52-49? You don't need an elite defense to win games anymore. You just need offense, and where they are located, he can get a local 5 star QB, RB, and multiple 5 star WR's and turn it around. If the defense thing happens along the way, then that's just an added bonus.

Less stress, thats the sole reason for him picking the SC gig. The fans are indifferent there ( unless they are winning) how many times the stadium there is half empty with a decent to good record. Heck just down the road at UCLA, they had to beg fans and students to attend the LSU game! Unless he hires a home run D coordinator, he won’t have much success winning big games at USC.

Florida should hire and throw the bank at a Coach who has never Coached at the BIG BOY LEVEL, has a few winning seasons in a WEAK Conference but LOSES the Weak Conference Championship 2 out of 2 times, even though his Recruiting Budget is 2-3 TIMES GREATER than the rest of his Conference!! I hear that there is a similar plan for Bama when Saban retires. If SOUTHERN ALABAMA'S Coach is on a Hot Streak in their conference, at the time Saban retires, he will become Bama's new HC with a Top Dollar Contract! He should also be somebody who Dabo fired for having a laughing stock of an Offense and has never Competed AGAINST Saban, Smart, Fisher, Dabo, or Day on the Recruiting Trail as a HC! If he coached under MCELWAIN, that's a bonus! He should also be LSU'S 4th on the list for new HC hires. We really NEED TO GAMBLE on an unproven up and comer because it's worked out so well since Urban Meyer, who had a hella of a lot better resume at BowlingGreen and Utah with a Revolutionary NEW offense!!! Absolutely we shouldn't take a patient approach and go after Cincinnati's Coach Luke Fickell or offer Lincoln Riley $12 Million before everyone else (Who is now going to USC). The BullGators only set a record last Fiscal Year by raising a PALTRY $562 Million Dollars bringing the total Endowment to Over $3.2 BILLION!!! Plus, after the current b.s. SEC contract expires with CBS in a couple of years and goes more with SEC Network each School will have an estimated ADDITIONAL $25 Million per year. Let's rush this deal for an unknown rather than a PROVEN HC! Makes total sense. Higher Risk ALWAYS means higher rewards. We can afford to gamble again using the SAME methods that got us here in the first place. This is the Exact Model Fortune 500 Companies Use when hiring their CEOs. What do we have to lose?
