Really cool vest. Now make one for steel and vastly broaden your market.

Love Condor products. Strong, reliable and durable. I have used a variety of Condor products for years in the field and they have never failed me. The cumbor bun on this looks awesome.

With TREX AC1 being out of stock all the time, this may be a pretty good stand in. I like the similar features and a lower cost.

Are they planning on changing the colors anytime soon? OD green , camo or multi cam? Thanks! Very interested in this product.
@TerryWhisk3 жыл бұрын
Why would you need a concealed carrier in multicam?🤔
@jy46273 жыл бұрын
@@TerryWhisk Not everyone will use this as a concealed carrier. Most other slim plate carriers also have OD green, multicam, jungle etc. Not everyone wants black and gray.

Does it accommodate pistol mags ? All I seen is AR so far
@Covered64 жыл бұрын
You can add something like this on the front for pistol mags. condorelite.com/collections/condor-elite-accessories/products/qd-pistol-mag-pouch-2-pcs-pack-condor-elite
@Gr33nLight.3 жыл бұрын
You said it’s able to attach a shingle to the front?
@Covered63 жыл бұрын
Yes! In addition to being able to accommodate many third-party shingles, Condor has also made one specifically for the Specter called the Specter Kangaroo Pocket. Given its proprietary design, the Kangaroo Pocket allows the plate carrier to remain streamline while staying functional. Any other shingles can be attached with the loop on the bottom of the carrier, much like how it is shown in the video, or with the laser cut molle on the face of the carrier.

My level 4 plates weigh about 8 pounds each. I don’t think this carrier can handle it. But I ordered it any way.
@Covered64 жыл бұрын
Note: Level 4 depends on the brand. It get too tight to get in.

Just for some info for anyone who wants to know. RMA level 4 will not fit. Ordered some soft armor for when I’m on the pistol range and do not want to wear my level 4’s

Recommendation on where to get the armor to go in the vest?
@Covered63 жыл бұрын
We actually sell a few plates, including a 10"x12" Lvl 3+ plate that fits nicely in the Specter: c6gear.com/products/covered-6-lvl-iii-single-rifle-plate-multi-curve

Would it be possible to add a zippered admin pocket up top on the front on newer models?

Velcro and elastic are the two things I'd want to immediately replace if I ever bought the plate career in the first place. Those two things have failed me too often for me to trust them to last any reasonable amount of time. It'd be fine if it's a vest that I may wear once or twice a year but if it was used in place of my concealed vest for my old security job (4-7 days a week) then that's a no-go.
@atxjaphotos42173 жыл бұрын
All the spec ops guys using Slicksters and all the other vests with elastic and velcro closures disagree.
@TonberryShuffle3 жыл бұрын
@@atxjaphotos4217 There's a significant logistical difference between an agency that get this stuff issued for free and individuals that have to supply the gear themselves. When it's issued you don't care if the velcro gives out in six months; it's getting replaced for free. and depending on the situation someone else may be doing the maintenance anyway. You can get away with velcro in a situation like that without any issues. It's not the same thing for someone supplying their own gear where they may potentially need something to last longer without a replacement. Potentially sitting in storage where certain conditions can potentially ruin velcro and elastic while being stored. I really didn't think I would've had to explain that.

Not intended for steel plates? Well that's some bullcrap. Why design a cheap afforable conceal option when like 90% of people looking for budget carriers probably run budget steel?
@CyberViking13 жыл бұрын
Probably because literally everyone in the industry has been telling people to stay away from crap steel plates. Steel plates are not for smart people. Rather run a chest rig then steel. I’m on a budget but there’s no way in hell I’m settling for less then the standard, or whenever trex arms has more stock.

@yoloactual69753 жыл бұрын
@@justsnuggle They legitimately lost my business because of this. I ended up purchasing a Shellback product, and while it isn't designed for conceal, It will most certainly conceal with heavier clothing (which if im being honest you'd need for any of these "slick" carriers anyway)
