This might sound dumb but practice chipping off of hard pan (hard dirt) is a very good way to practice - it forces you to keep the head and body under control, and forces you to move the clubhead forward and release properly. Another nice practice drill is to try to chip like Isao Aoki, both for learning how far to hit as well as how steep you can come into the ball (for various different lies). These are not the only two chipping drills I can think of - including practice out of the sand doing explosion shots to become a better chipper - but I like them a lot.

I like these sessions where you breakdown what you're doing. It shows a lot of how you can be hitting the ball well and still have improvement to work on. Im trying to het where i can hit the range hit the ball consistently strong and make the adjustments to tirn the ball over fade it when you want to and staying within a 10 yard dispersion. New to this but understanding the basics is critical. I have also found that my grip is unbelievably more important than nuances of the overall swing. Nice vid.

Really enjoying the in-depth self-assessments recently! I noticed your balance, especially at impact, appeared to be more toward the heels in the more recent swing as Mr. Hogan suggests.

Using the OTT move has made my ball flight more consistent with a nice cut. Noticed that the finish is higher and left for my cut than if I were to draw the ball where I finish lower and right. I am just glad I can control the low burner hook from showing up. Only time it comes out is when I am too quick through my transition (swinging too hard or opening hole jitters)

Christo - I recently bought the StraightAway by Leadbetter and it instantly made my ball striking better. It did produce a higher flight with a slight cut. It feels fresh. To do the MS OTT, you have to bring it a bit inside then loop it up and over it bit. Can you still use the StraightAway “idea” with this swing?

Here's my new way to hit fade/draw... High fade : hit spot on the right of the ball and low Low draw : hit spot on left of ball, 1-2 dimples higher than low

Just wondering if there is a notable difference in the divots and how your divot on the left also moves left? The right divot looks fairly straight down the line? Just looking at it appears that way or is it the camera angle?

your stance is also more open in the black shirt. but definitely more connected with your left arm. you can see your left hip is wide open and clear of you swing path . Thanks for the shout out. The rear-angle view really show your early weight shift. Uchi Mata seems similar to Scottie Scheffler or Bubba Watson footwork. Good eye, yes your red shirt swing is more in your throwing hand on the downswing

Runyan had many pros come to him for help including Mickey Wright! He wrote a book on the short game called "The Short Way to Lower Scoring". You can get it for $227 on Amazon...Lol. Check out these videos of Runyan's book and the "Stymie" where he chips over top of Sneads ball on the putting green to put the ball in the hole!!! Thanks - I am a drawer of the ball and did start getting a lot of pulls. I like your point of swinging more to the left after impact - gonna try it for sure. I also have also noticed that more fundamentally the OTT move is NOT performed as much with the arms and hands but with a more subtle rolling over motion of the trail shoulder. Thanks again!

@@MiracleSwingExperience doing really good. Im keeping up with the practice. Just shot an 85 last week. As I practice the short game hopefully will keep shaving off strokes. The OTT swing is getting more consistent and longer with time. Thanks again :)

Aside from visualizing the Judo throw, were there any specific movement changes or other feelings that you implemented to produce these results? Also, more carry and height?
