@@reneemoriconi7003 don't loose hope. Stress is a huge factor in hair loss. Also, don't get sucked in to buying every hairloss remedy. A gently clean scalp and daily gentle scalp massage will work. It just takes time. Make sure you are eating healthy and fresh. Don't skip on protein. My hair shedding has slowed way down 4 months after the hospital. My beautiful hair is not the same, Yet. Salut, I just wanted to give some input on my experience and what I have found.... the last few weeks I have lost tons of hair, and I have found a relationship between five gee, which is also directly related to Covid-19. They may have cranked up the signal in your area, they have here in Indiana. Is it a coincidence that the EMF symptom relating to hair loss, known as SAR, and Covid-19 is also known as SARS-CoV-2. Just look into it.... I am sure people will think me conspiracy theorist, but I really do not care, this is my truth.

Mine started falling out 2 months after Covid. I’ve lost piles of hair. My hair did fall out once before and I was able to get it to grow back very healthy. I had clumps of hair collected in the shower. It was so much I was afraid it was going to ruin the plumbing. I take biotin, zinc and treated my hair gently. After both incidences my hair stylist said my hair was fabulous and healthy. She thinks my hair will grow back like before. She’s been doing my hair for 10 years. Hang in there.

Okay, I had to share this update on my situation in hopes that I am not crazy and that it might really help others too. I was hospitalized with covid over 3 months ago and all of a sudden about a month ago I began having crazy amounts of hair loss, especially in the shower. I stumbled across a gynecologist’s tik tok page and learned that middle aged and menopausal women tend to have thinning hair due to a vitamin D deficiency. I was completely unaware of my covid connection with this sudden loss at the time. I started about 2 weeks ago taking a vitamin D supplement and focusing on remembering my multi vitamin as well. Today, for the first time my hair loss in the shower was very minimal and my comb out was uneventful. I don’t know if this is what has helped me recover and stop this cycle, but I am not going to quit! Experts r finding Supplementing vitamin D can often be helpful since most people are deficient-along with other key nutrients, typically iron, vitamin C, and biotin-in restoring hair loss. It certainly helps thicken existing hair if nothing else. I hope and pray this may help others too ❤

yes me too I started taking loads of vitamins. But my hair is still falling out. I notice my pee is very bright yellow now and that is a sign of too many vitamins B2 I believe. But that is harmless as our body flushes out the excess. However Iron and selenium is bad if we have too much. I have read we have to wait 100 days. I had Covid in Sept with very high fever and no appetite and I could not eat for a week. Then in Dec (3 months later) my hair started shedding like mad . Other people don't notice but I do, feels like I have lost half my head of hair. It seems to have eased off a bit now but still not stopped.

I got Covid and it was rough. Three months later, I was losing hair at an extreme rate. In the end, I lost about a third of my hair in 2 weeks. I know this sounds weird, but I have been able to help people where doctors failed. Last case was someone bleeding for over one full year. I spoke with him, made a recommendation, and the bleeding stopped in one week. He and his docs were flabbergasted. This time though it was for me. I viewed KZbin to understand what was happening. Then I asked why. I understand the body to work in such a way as we do not yet fully understand. My thoughts went to the lymphatic system and also how nervous system by which acupuncture is used to heal. My devised treatment was to daily comb my scalp with a rubbery plastic brush, like the ones with beads that the end. Lie flat on bed with head slightly overhanging down from the side of bed. Comb scalp slowly, slowly, and mindfully. Concentrate on electrical and lymphatic stimulation. If you are doi it properly, it will tingle and feel WONDERFUL AND GREAT. Really concentrate that you are working with your lymphatic system & nervous system, throwing them into a healing mode to stop this hair loss. After one week, my hair stopped falling out. I daily continue treatment and my hair no longer is a problem and I am enjoying my head of hair. Please docs, look into treatment by which you use the lymphatic and nervous system (nerve endings) to call to action/activating the body's own healing system. The body's healing system needs to be activated in order to stop this hair loss.. Sincerely and thank you.

Fantastic information. I'm 70. Had covid in January which landed me in the ICU for 18 days, fully recovered and now the hair is falling out. My hair is down to my butt so when I say a lot of hair is in my brush, a LOT of hair is in my brush. Also on the back of my couch where my head rests where I sit, pulling strands off clinging to my cloths, my bedding and clogged rotary brush under my vacuum cleaner. I don't want to visit my kids because I don't want to leave hair at their place . This has been for a few months now and in a week I could easily fill up a plastic grocery bag with the hair I pulled out of my brush. Thank you for this information and the peace of mind to know it will start to grow back and without the expense of products. My Dr. had me take a thyroid test just to rule that out. They aren't up to speed even after all this time. Greetings from PA.

That is how it started for me about 2 or 3-weeks into COVID. I was treated at a hospital twice over a three-week period but I never mentioned the scalp pain because other symptoms were more severe. Buy a shampoo from a brand called hask. It has biotin, collagen, and coffee. My hair fell out in chunks after covid. My scalp was hurting so much as well. After I started using that shampoo, conditioner, and spray my hair stopped falling and my scalp stopped hurting. Now I see my hair growing back. I use the spray every day and wash my hair twice or once a week.

My parents moved in with me a few years later. I started taking super B complex twice a day. Within a year most of my hair was back to it's dark color. I asked at the finishing school for the salon I been going to and their instructor had no clue. The owner came in and he asked him why my hair would darken. His answer, diet. It was the B vitamins. I was so sad when the owner died. The training center was closed and the salons were sold. It was great getting my hair done at 30% of the regular price for those top end salons.

I experienced hair loss about 3 months after my second vaccine, I also had heart palpitations. I’m also on thyroxine due to thyroid cancer. The last time this happened in 2015 was when I had low ferritin, the doctors failed to help, just told me to find the trigger, I kept asking for blood tests and figured it out myself took iron and when my ferritin went up to 60 the hair loss stopped. I’ve been on thyroxine for years and it’s never caused hair loss until I took the Pfizer vaccine in September and October last year. I had months of heart issues and feeling very dizzy and faint, doctors did not believe me, I stopped it myself this second time as well. This time I stopped it quicker, it stoped shedding within one month, in 2015 it took 6 months for the shedding to stop and I lost about 50-60% of my hair. This time I only lost about 5-10% due to finding the trigger quicker. The doctor here is wrong, it will continue if your not sure what caused it so check ferritin and thyroid levels. If ferritin is under 40 your hair may shed, mine was 20 which meant I have very low iron stores in 2015. More recently my iron and thyroid levels were normal so I think it was Pfizer, but I did improve my thyroid levels to ensure that it functioned at its best, I think this helped.

Thank you. I have Chronic Lyme disease with multiple co-infections. I've been suffering with this for over 20 years. In December 2021, I caught a stomach flu... a few weeks into fighting this, I also caught Covid, had pneumonia, and had to be hospitalized (put on oxygen while there) for about 5 days... It took a while for me to recover, at least from the stomach flu, Covid, and pneumonia. I am still struggling with my chronic illness. It wasn't until March when I started feeling "better." What I mean by that is I felt like I did before Covid... which was still bad, but better. Anyone who has a chronic illness, especially Lyme disease AND it's co-infections (Babesia, Bartonella, EBV, Candida, etc.) knows what I'm talking about. March is also when clumps of my hair started coming out... When I told people about the clumps of my hair coming out - NO ONE showed any empathy or sympathy. I got told, "Oh Mary, everyone has hair come out." They thought I was over exaggerating the amount of my hair coming out.... so I started collecting and saving my hair in a plastic bag... At this moment, I have about 2/3 of my hair gone from my head. Fighting a chronic illness for as long as I have made me think, "Great. NOW what's going on with me?" And here's a weird thing.... I'm losing hair on my head, but the hair on my face seems to be growing just fine. Oh the irony. Thanks again for the information.

So glad you posted this. In May I was diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumors in pancreas and liver. Started an anti-growth hormone treatment to treat symptoms of the PNETS. By October, my hair was rapidly falling out....lost probably 50%. This treatment is not supposed to cause hair loss. I do know that things don't "grow" well on the treatment (hair , nails and hopefully the tumors). I sure do hope some of my hair returns because it has been very disheartening on top of an incurable (but often treatable) cancer diagnosis. Wonder if it will return? He died at the end of the month, I went home for a week and then my niece got sick with covid and brought it home to my parents. Both my mom and dad got sick with covid and were hospitalized at the same time. Dad, 94, died end of September. Mom was released a week later, and I nursed her for a week, she could barely walk or eat. She still had a low grade fever, and kept getting worse. She went back in to the hospital (scared to death!) because she had pneumonia! Well, glad to report she got through all that, but her hair fell out. The top of her head was nearly bald.. After I got Omicron, my hair started falling out! I put Keranique in her hair and it's growing in fast now, where before you could see her WHOLE SCALP! I don't know if it was the product, or it grew back naturally. She is 90 and got her hair back.

Bingo! Happened to me. I had COVID in August (Delta) for 2 weeks. End of October -end of December, I lost over half my hair. In October, my head tingled for several days. I am wondering if tingling sensation had anything to do with the beginnings of hair loss. So glad to see major hair regrowth happening now. :-)

For what its worth after covid its hard to say exactly how long I was shedding since I was actually already in a shedding phase from being very sick during the summer before, but then after covid at one point I was no joke probably losing about 300 plus hairs a day quite easily for 10 weeks straight.. and then very quickly.. now for a couple months.. I maybe see 10 hairs a day if that.. maybe a couple days where maybe I saw 20.. so much more normal kinda stuff..Honestly I cant even recall losing that much hair that quickly even when I had radiation done as a kid.. but it is what it is I guess.

I had the Delta mid Sept 2021, in mid Dec, I noticed extreme thinning, and hair loss while shampooing & styling. As mentioned in the video I feel stress plays a lot into this as we lost a family member, age 32, due to Covid in early January 2022. I did have my TE confirmed with my dermatologist, it was suggested to use Minoxidil 5%, I too had scalp sensitivity along with ringing in my ears. I decided I didn’t want to put any chemicals onto my scalp so I turned to a formula (several oils mixed with a carrier oil) in an essential oil book that I purchased. I’ve used this several times and have also put the drops in my shampoo which I feel are definitely helping. I also purchased a shampoo formulated for thinning hair and also vitamins containing keratin and biotin for hair growth. I noticed during the hair loss phase my hair was feeling very dry and course, I use an oil serum for my length, I too trimmed my hair myself because of the thinning. I think education is key so thank you to the doctor for posting this video and explaining the phases of TE. Once I understood what was happening and just accepting it and knowing that it will grow back has helped a lot. I know we have a lot more options as far as colors, styles, hair extensions etc., so just be patient, cry if you need to cry, talking about it helps, I hope sharing my story will help someone too.

OM gosh, let's just say that I lost 80% of my hair and I had to shave my head down to about 1/2 in long from it being way past my shoulders. Always having fantastic strong hair and lots of it after a few weeks in the hospital with a covid 19 lung infection a few weeks later my hair started falling out by the hand fulls. Much to my horror, I had no idea what was causing it, knowing at any time in our lives our bodies can turn on us, and things can start happening that we are resistant to. I just kept praying for the hair loss to stop and it was not so I took to the internet after several weeks of nearly 1/2 of my hair falling out. I read up on several places that talked about covid 19 and the side effects and one was hair loss, to what degree I had no idea until I went to KZbin and started listening to others' stories. I cried knowing I was not alone in this but others were suffering in the same way I have been, I hope it all grows back and I could not take it any longer to wake up with my pillow full of hair, washing my hair, and clumps falling out, brushing it and clumps falling out each day. Never in my life have I experienced such a thing and to think there are people all over the world suffering as I am is in a small way comfort having no idea myself what was the cause of it. I also have a much bigger appreciation for those who suffer from complete hair loss and especially children with cancer, alopecia, etc. Please know that it's been 6 months since my first bout of covid 19 and I think that my hair is finally starting to come back in, it will take 4 years to get it to where it was pre haor loss, but I am alive and doing ok so gods grace has given me my life. If the sacrifice is losing nearly all of my hair then I must be ok with that. I have looked into buying a wig and the thought of that on my head in the hot summer heat is so unappealing, that I do not recognize myself in the mirror, it will pass for all of us. God bless and stay safe and well kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2mriaiVbNl_eck this video states your hair will grow back and stop falling out, I do not believe it as the video you watching now clearly states. Beware of snake oil

Usually last only a month or so, then slows, then regrowth starts. Regrowth generally should be noticeable after 100 days after you first notice shedding. No stress, eating well, maybe some supplements to help the process.

I noticed baby hairs growing back about 6 weeks later after it quit falling out.. ..don’t panic! I would suggest waiting before you put more stress to your system with products. If you don’t see little baby hairs in a few months, then ask your doctor…it usually comes back for people. ☺️

This video comes just on time! The last 2wks or so my hairs have falled out so much in my shower, that I have some quite apparent patches, and overall thinning of my already thin hairs. I thought was it because I started going to the gym and excercise so I stressed myself out, or because of 2-3 time sauna weekly, again more stress. After watching this video, it makes so much sense as I got covid in the first week of Jan22, so just about 3 months after that, my hairs all come out! At least, I am now not concerned to cut down my excercise or sauna, or thinking this is a sign of some hidden healtg issues.

My hairstylist told me that all (100%) of her clients who had received any of the covid injections had severe hair loss along typical regular male or female pattern balding lines, including herself. After she noticed this pattern of fast hair loss, she started to ask her clients if they had received the injections. Sure enough, the balding was exclusive to the injected. I live in Taipei, Taiwan. At the time she relayed that to me, we had only had about 850 covid casws in a population of 23 million, but with an 80% injection rate. Taiwan is an island and has been strictly segrated from the outside world with lots of testing and long mandatory gov. controlled quarantining - still up to now.

I haven’t had shots or Covid but my hair is 30% thinner these past two years from stress. It has fallen out in clumps in the shower when washing my hair and my brush is full of hair. Skin never stops growing. That’s why ppl get wrinkles and thinner hair from age and the nose & ears get larger. Pores get larger and hair follicle holes do as well, so hair follicles fall out. That’s w/o shots or disease, just aging. BUT stress from the fear porn on msn, the shots and dis-ease have caused extra stress as well and hair loss in just about everyone. Also, I noticed on social media all of these ads for wigs and toppers just as all of this Covid started. It’s like someone knew the market was going to be growing for wigs during this time. The wig ads have pretty much stopped on social media now. I take Biotin for nails and see improvement so I’m hopeful it strengthens hair as well. My hair has always been very thick so it’s not as bad as ppl who had thinner hair to start with. But it is demoralizing to see your hair fall out, especially for younger ppl. I’ve always felt sorry for young men who lose their hair for different reasons than stress or age. And I’ve noticed, so far, there’s no real fix for it other than transplantation. And who knows how long that actually lasts.
