In side lying position you should must keep fellow below ribs for that purcation ,, and also currect the patient hands ,take patients hand over the head 🗣️ thats why because to stretch the body muscles and then your hand taping can work effectively on lungs to secrete mucus,, thanks 🙏

Thank you for this informative video. How many times a day should I do this? Thanks in advance. God bless
@smitaingle57593 жыл бұрын
Can perform at least 2 times a day 10 reps per exercise with breaks. Start with only 4 to 5 exercises and then progress on weekly basis to add more.

FYI, please make sure the person doesn't have pneumonia or fluid on the lungs because chest pt iß contraindicated for pneumonia and can actually make it worse. But this very effective for clearing mucus.

Can this be done for copd patient?
@farisasmith71092 жыл бұрын
@@roshni6565 Yes. Anything with mucus. It's even good on babies with wet cough. Most people almost fall asleep while you are doing it because it's rythmic. Pneumonia is fluid and that won't bring up the fluid.

Appreciate the efforts But isn't chest Physiotherapy in the form of percussions contraindicated, as majority of Covid patients have dry cough without secretions, and what's indicated is proper patient positioning and breathing exercises, can you pls explain
@chennainaveen383 жыл бұрын
we can use a different technique to reduce the dry cough pursed lip breathing can help to reduce the dry cough & dry cough is not a issue when removing the secretions from the lungs to save the patient from severe complications 👍👍

I don't know how this is for other people but for me I have really strong respitory muscles but extremely sticky and almost completely solid phlegm. I literally cough and sneeze so hard that I have to be careful not to rupture my lungs (one of my relatives actually burst a lung once). I have a really hard time getting rid of mucus

@seoulcovers36102 жыл бұрын
The technique is good, but don't you really think your percussion technique on the breast tissue is a bit more hurtful and it might be causing injury within? I'm just giving my opinion. Perhaps you are correct, but I do not believe it is comfortable for the patient (here, model).
@maryjanesteinbrecher395311 ай бұрын
No. Its not a slap but cupped hand just causing vibration to lossen secretions. No breast injury

Physiotherapists are paramedics only not doctors. Self labelling as doctors is illegitimate... Does universities honour you with doctorate at the completion of your physiotherapy? Don't bluff people even if you bluff yourself.
@bhoomikavadhel41923 жыл бұрын
first of all.. WHO defines & classifies PHYSIOTHERAPY as an independent profession- PT is not Paramedical. nd the 2nd thing According to variously supreme court judgements, a physiotherapist can prefix Dr. to his/her name, when he/she has finished doctorate. Only a registered medical practitioner can call himself a doctor and prefix Dr. to their name. Yes the person who have done a degree course in PHYSIOTHERAPY are considered as doctors. do your proper research than speak something about other profession

Pls gain some knowledge about medical profession , half knowledge is more dangerous... Physiotherapist use dr prefffix and suffix (pt) . After Mpt they become doctor in the field of physiotherapy. Already physiotherapist has many state council , now country started All India council of physiotherapy , physiotherapy has their own association known as IAP.

We are not a paramedics.. we are independent professionals and we have a permission to use a Dr. In front of our name.. and we are not cheat peoples… and then we are a primary health care professionals in USA..in USA every physios are use Dr. in front of them name..

@Prasanna samala yes physiotherapost are labelled as doctors for your kind information. Correct your knowledge then speak.
