The NHS has been amazing. We sadly lost our Grandma quite suddenly from Covid. She has lots of underlying health issues so we knew she wouldn’t make it. The doctors and nurses kept her comfortable and we all got to spend some time with her before she passed away. Watching someone dying and fighting for breath from Covid is something that will be with me forever. I’m so grateful that the nurses were able to allow us to see her and say goodbye. I know some families haven’t been so lucky. The world has lost an amazing woman, gone before her time because of this horrifying disease. My heart goes out to every single family affected by Covid.

Did an autopsy identify tissue that was isolated containing covid or was it a ‘diagnosis’ from the PCR test? A PCR test CANNOT and DOES NOT diagnose illness. The media and your government are lying to you! Do your own research outside the main stream news because its censored! If your poor grandmother received the vaccine mRNA then it was probably this that caused her sad demise
@annabelcottrell1835
@annabelcottrell1835 3 жыл бұрын
@@choomickle623 a spectacularly stupid and insensitive remark. Yes a PCR test can diagnose Covid unless you happen to be a non human species from another planet. Only in Russia do deaths from Covid only count if they do an autopsy and they still have 72,185 official Covid deaths. Besides the fact they have recently admitted that the true numbers are three times that figure - if you read Russian you can check this out on the Russian equivalent of the ONS so no need to rely on the media. And no it was not the vaccine that caused her death since not one person has died from the vaccine except in the minds of the seriously demented Covid deniers.

@@jenniferlawrence9473 Is there something wrong with "going into a profession for the money"? I'm a nurse. A really good one too. I don't want to be called a hero. It is my love and passion, but it is also just my job. It is not who I am-it is just what I do. I need to pay bills like everyone else. Does that mean I don't feel tremendous pain and sorrow watching my fellow human being die a *horrible* death? Then I have to wash their cold, lifeless body and put them in a body bag only to do it all over again. There is no amount of money that can make that tolerable. There aren't many professions where people have to deal with tragic death like I do. It's so hard.

Having firsthand seen nurses and doctors within a children's icu whilst my own child was severally sick this time last year, I saw the level of stress and emotional impact caring for the extreme sick has on many of them. Not only did they provide excellent care to my baby who was fully sedated requiring 100%oxygen, they also carried the burden of parents like me who had no other loved one by their side to get through. I simply cannot imagine the weight they carry of seeing the final moments of those that are dying without their loved ones by their side. They really are angels on earth, I may never see my daughters nurses again but will never forget them or the things they said to me and the way they made me feel.

It’s really depressing, the harrowing scenes of people dying. The pressure of looking after extremely sick patients, the anxiety of the possibility of catching the virus and ending up like the one in your arms, the uncertainty of the future, these are the things that run in us, frontliners. I contracted the virus myself and I’m telling you the foreboding sense of ‘what will happen next? Will i end up in the hospital? I think I cannot breathe!’ makes the experience even worse. Likening your fate to those who are suffering, to those who have passed away, you can’t help it. I’m gradually recovering but sometimes i still get anxiety attacks which are unexplainable. @clifford heywood yes i will have to agree with you. Some of the deaths have underlying or concomitant issues but the most pressing and most immediate cause of death is mainly due to COVID-19 complications. A man with a cancer cannot just die suddenly if he undergoes chemotherapy steadfastly (almost always), a man with diabetes cannot either; however, with the compromising and vulnerable condition that they are already in and with COVID-19 that has gripped them, it just hastens things up. There is a growing number of younger and healthier people being admitted in the hospital who also worsen but have no apparent underlying health conditions. Cause of death is almost always about the immediate cause which is why we see COVID-19 as the main cause of death. But surely a lot of people who have passed away had had other conditions in them (mostly)

@@sarahmiller645 i am so sorry to hear about your mum 😔 and i am not making excuses for the staff who took care of her, but the truth of the matter is, there may have been no available noncovid beds at all. Doctors are having to oversee 100s of patients, nurses are taking whole bays of patients alone, the standard of care provided is dropping and this is breaking our hearts too. We are doing our best but we are only humans with two hands and two feet, and we can only do what we can, when we can. This is the tragedy of covid. It is not only the infected people who are dying, but also those ones who cannot be provided the care that they need because everyone is just too busy and too overwhelmed. And patients can still have covid even with a negative swab test. Scans can also reveal covid. A negative swab just means she is shedding a low viral load but the lungs have already been damaged 😔😔

@@ashleykristin_ I wish I could give you a hug. You are the best of us. The deniers and accusers are in the minority, try not to listen to them. The rest of us think you're amazing, and we wish we could thank every one of you.

@@ashleykristin_ the issue has never been the death toll considering the fact that the response to covid has endangered and killed infinitely more people than the actual virus by way of depression, suicide, isolation, and cases like the above where people are sidelined as covid patients are prioritized above all else.

@@sarahmiller645 Very sad situation. But what do you expect if there are no beds. There are “non-covid bays” inside covid wards. Must be more specific in this case and I’m sure there are further relevant details. I’m sure what you are saying is correct but you cannot dictate to hospital staff where she goes. If anyone is to blame its the bed managers- the docs and nurses are working in clinical environments and the bed managers are responsible for deciding where patients are sent. These managers have blood on their hands. My friend caught covid in hospital same situation as your mum- he was in a non- covid bay inside a ward with covid bays. Ended up really unwell- not looking good rn. We must now think about paying a fee for better healthcare. Current system not working. This system has gone on too long. Too many people are taking advantage of the nhs ( e.g alcoholics / patients with high expectations and demands but would never pay for better service) Yes we pay taxes but that still doesn’t cover the use of what we use as a nation. No solutions to this real problem sorry.
