In this special edition video, Janet Mendez, a COVID-19 patient, captures the emotional moment of being discharged from Mount Sinai Morningside, after being in the hospital for 3 weeks. She arrived on March 25 with severe respiratory failure, and was intubated for 10 days. The cardiovascular critical care team got her breathing on her own again.
