Calving season is moving right along. We've got a cow that needed to be darted, grafting Hank Jr. (bottle calf) on to his new mom, and plenty more happening this week.

Found your channel the other day. Love your videos man keep it going. I laughed so hard at the dry trigger moment on your dart gun 😂

Dip that tip of dart a tube of antibiotic ointment to seal the tip & keep medicine from running out .

We've seen this for sheep, but it was really interesting to see this with other animals. The kids were fascinated by the video! Subscribed! Looking forward to more.

This video reminded me of something I seen on Bondi Vet when the took a towel rubbed the dogs scent glands than rubbed the lion cub with the same towel to get the dog to accept the cub as its own baby. It worked so well it was super cool to see that bonding happen.

Good luck with mamma T and Hank Jr. looks like he’s gonna be good to go. Hopefully one less to bottle feed.

Still feeding him a small bottle a day but hopefully he starts bumming and, yes, one less to bottle!

Hank Jr is really a cute cafe. I don't think you have an ugly cafe yet. Thanks for the update.

We had some amazing cows with so much milk. we used to go to the local dairy farm and buy the male calves if our cow had one baby then we bought 3 more to put on the mother. it worked out really good but we would bring the mother in to get feed and put the 4 in total on the mother. it worked out really well. and either we butchered the calves when they gotten older or sold them. but we ALWAYS castrated the males. i really dont like it if farmers dont castrate because the meal tastes funny if you butcher the male animals and they still have their balls.

Mink coats were popular from I believe about the 60s until the 80s. My Grandmother had one.

Everyone should wear anything they want. I like fur coats, doesn't mean it was "unethically" harvested.

You probably already bought one but they make a "wind sock" for microphones.

I thought you could just rub the afterbirth fluids all over and the cow just licks that off ..skimming it seems wierd to me
