The "kid" (Wen) was played by Mona Marshall and you're right, she's great, she plays Izzy in Digimon and has a few roles on South Park, most notably Kyle's mom. She has a KZbin channel too that's pretty cool where she talks about how she developed her character voices and gives voice acting tips.
