It is important to know that if the "safety" is located on the slide it is a decocker and not really a safety. The SAFETY on the 941 is located on the frame. The Jericho was released in 1990, and Cowboy Bebop came out in 1998. In 1998, the Jericho was an obscure pistol, modeled somewhat after the IMI Desert Eagle. Designer Toshihiro Kawamoto wanted a gun that looked cool and fit Spike's personality as a bounty hunter. The detail given to the gun in the cartoon is impressive, even modified, but the gun itself is never mentioned. I bought the gun because it is very good, made even better by upgrading the internals. If you have the safety version and not the de-cocker, Cajun Gunwoerks offers a killer upgrade hit. I never heard of Cowboy Bebop until after I bought it and my son said, "That's Spikes gun!" The original Jericho put out by IMI is a collector's item.

Beg to differ my friend. There are devices called decockers that will only drop the hammer but still allows one to pull the trigger in DA mode. But this is a decocker/safety which when engaged drops the hammer AND disables the trigger. You have to move the safety to the fire position to re-enable the trigger. (note the white and red dots). Some guns have decockers on the slide like the Sig P226. Where the device is mounted (frame or slide) doesn't matter. It's all about function. This is the 941r which has the slide mounted decocker/safety. The 941fs has the frame mounted safety and no decocker

Just got mine while we still can get em! Killer GUN! I even ordered a police trade in special edition of the pistol. Enjoy the hammer 🔨 that single action trigger pull is great on this pistol 🎉

"Baby Desert Eagle" a tad bit heavy for my taste. Can't remember, but something about the single action bothered me so I've never looked into getting one. Hope you try a CZ Shadow 2 to give you a comparison for a double action to single action pistol. See you next time Space Cowboy.

I wish you would have shown the trigger reset when in the SA mode. Also, what brand and bullet weight ammo did you use? Self defense? Ball?

Mine is ten rounds. I’m having a lot of trouble finding a holster for this specific model. I’ve gotten three types of Orpaz from Amazon but theyve all had problems. Any suggestions?

Sorry for the late reply. Crossbreed holsters makes an inside the waist band that works great, and Hill side holsters make a custom one that works for the most part. I have a video showing off both if you want more details

The real Bebop gun does not have an accessories rail. My Jericho 941 F looks more similar to origin.

You are probably right, I remember the one I got was not what the gun in the show was based off of, however the one that it was based off of was out of production. I wanted a gun that was cheap and also in new condition while still looking similar to the show lol.

IWI upgraded the gun for present-day use. The original does not have the rail and has other slight original features.
