Nice video! Can’t wait for this plane on MSFS! Btw, what spring set do you use for your winwing orion that closely matches the real a320 for fenix? If you can also share your in game curve settings that would be great! Thanks!

Hi. I don’t own the WW Orion. I use the Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke.

Hey blackbox. I noticed when doing EGLL 160kts till 4 DME you did gear, flaps 3 then flaps full. Is that SOP for your operator at EGLL? One a pprune discussion, a guy said the following 'As you say, it barely comes to a stable approach with the speed. When you put your gear down in selected speed, power comes up to compensate for the drag, as you then go to flap Full you need even more power. The result of this is that when you go for managed speed at 4 miles it takes longer to slow down due to the power setting when you go managed. Result is noisy approach that struggles to be stable by 1000 ft. If you are at Flap 2 and 160 kts at 4DME your power will be low, take managed speed, gear down, Flap 3 then immediately Full and you will find that by about 1100 ft you are fully configured, speed is within 5 kts and the engines are spooling up nicely......amend as required for tailwinds!' Do you think his strategy is reasonable? Always interesting to hear different opinions from the pros.

Hi. The comment from that person is definitely wrong with regards to not being stable when having gear down and at least flaps 3. I never had issue irl with that technique. I agree that it creates more drag and noise, but the 160 to 4 in EGLL is absolutely vital. Each approach is monitored by ATC and results of all flights are sent to each airline on a monthly basis. And the method he described in a NEO will definitely bust the 1000 stabilization criteria. As a sidenote, for us the SOP was amended slightly, allowing the speed to be at Vapp at 500 ft, with all other stabilization criteria remaining unchanged.
