I sure appreciate both of you. There is such a need for the simplicity of life and your channel certainly is providing this to many very appreciative viewers. I realize the amount of work going into running the farm and providing the videos adds to your work load, I want to say here that it is really appreciated. Thank you to you both.❤

You know they release consistently good content when there are 4 views and 29 likes with a 20+ minute video that was released 3 minutes ago. Says something for the quality of the content. Pete and Hillary and Gierock farms are my favorite on KZbin.

No, I wouldn't do that now, would I? Unlike voting for a bill in congress that's never been read to find out what's in it, This makes total sense. They've earned our trust and love just by doing what they do and be what they are: Brilliant! @@regenesteffen2814

Good morning Pete n Hillary. My family loves your family. We've been watching you guys for quite a while now. My grandson loves you guys dearly. He's three years old and everytime he comes over, which is several times a week, he says I Wana watch Pete and Hillary. So soon as we turn on one of your videos he says hi I'm Pete. He really loves you guys n so do we. Keep up the good work. ❤

I can appreciate your choice with working your cattle with the limited amount of pens, such as sweep pens, alley pens and so forth. We only had a head gate for several years and when I got older, I had a situation where I was injured. As a result we chose to get a sweep pen with an alley and head gate. It was a pretty costly choice, but we figured it was well worth the cost to prevent a severe injury. I don't have a barn, so that was a primary reason for this decision. Anyways, I like what you and Hilarie are doing with your cattle and appreciate your opinion. Thanks for the video, have a great day!

OK it is time for a "dad" joke involving cattle: Three young bulls were discussing their future employment. The first said that he thought he would like to be a bull in a china shop The second thought he would like to go to Rome and be a Papal bull. The third said he would be content to stay in the pasture for heifer and heifer and heifer.

Hi Hillary, Hi Pete, hope you guys are having a good day. Interesting 🧐 that with cows you have to have a lot of patience. Also you have to have a lot of control when it comes on cows. You can’t be timid or weak. Great video, thanks.

We actually do run a linebred herd of registered Herefords and you are correct in the fact that you have to start with a clean herd. The oldest linebred Herefords were started in Miles City, MT at the Ft. Keogh Livestock and Range research station. That herd is still going today and is over 85 years old with no new genetics being introduced since it’s inception. They are known as Line One Herefords. We have bought herd bulls and females from there for over 20 years. They add an extra kick of heterosis on even outcross Hereford bloodlines because they are so tightly bred. We have many with inbreeding co-efficiencies of 30+%.

Hello Hillary and Pete, I really enjoyed this video for two reasons. The first being just watching those cattle run rapidly when the bulls were let out with him. You’re right, it is entertainment, however, like you said, it’s too hot for that to go on very long, but it was a great game of tag. The second reason is I really appreciate the amount of information you share with us on your videos, no matter how many of us have been farmers or never been farmers, the information is very much appreciated so I thank you both for that! Last, I appreciated your joke regarding Eiffel tower in a tick. Those are the kind of jokes I like God bless you both and have a great week! Stay cool.❣️♥️♥️

Great to see how you and Hil work so well together. It was 105 here in S.E. Nebraska yesterday and the County Fair kicked off. It always seems to get hot during the fair week. Question for ya Pete, I’m new to cattle, just picked up a pregnant cow and a heifer. The pregnant cow was a 4h heifer and was very approachable (halter trained). Now we got her on our farm and she’s pregnant of course. But she lunges towards us when we approach her. She wasn’t like that before. Any advice?
