Brim(sunfish) are extremely quick and aggressive. They live around virtually all these fish in the wild, plus the bowfin and bass.

Id love to see some more native predator fish! I'd recommend pike, but those would probably eat the sunfish. Pickerel are a good option, redfin are my favorite!

I don't think they'd get on with the gravel substrate, the crabs would probably eat them, and his current filtration setup seems to be doing an excellent job.

If you need a home for one of the bichirs I'd gladly take one of the ornates. The endlacari get a bit a bigger if I remember correctly and 200 is my max max size moving forward. 125 is my current max size for the next year or so.
