Very little which is why it is fast with the coyotes. The rpms stay at the top the entire run which is where they're making all their power. Id be surprised if this one drops too much over 1000 rpm between shifts from the sound of it.

@@joefoxbody5914I agree 1000%. If you are competitive racing I can see going auto but it really is very boring by comparison and takes alot away from racing imo. Having the driver mod is a thing with a manual but with these autos everyone has the driver mod a monkey could drive these cars fast lol. It is a great trans and obviously capable of doing serious work but man is said work super boring by comparison to shifting yourself. I understand what you're saying and I agree totally.

They don't run 8s at the same power level with heavier weight. If an s550 is running 8s it has more power than this car plain and simple. Or its gutted to where it is similar weight to this car I don't know what the weight is on this new edge or what weight saving mods are done. Its simple physics. Power to weight ratio. How much quicker do you think 500 lbs is gonna make you which is the difference between a 18 up car and a new edge give or take. That is prob half second if that that could be the difference in different da or one being turned up more than the other. Its stupid to say it isn't impressive running 8s because people run 8s in s550s. Apples to apples if both cars are running the exact same setup running in the same da at the same track the new edge car is gonna be half second quicker if both are at stock weight or the difference in weight is still the same 500ish pounds it was when stock. You act like its super common to run 8s in full weight 18 up cars yes people do it but its not like everyone with a power adder is going 8s. It just bugs me the attitude people have about things like this these days. How is running 8 with a stock driveline and a power adder swapped into a new edge not good? Oh because s550s run 8s "all day" i forgot lol. Whatever bro.
