We live in Parkdale off Queen West near the Drake Hotel. We saw a Coyote running by the GoTrain tracks with a rodent in his mouth last weekend.

There are cougars in Toronto too, so scary! But I just look them straight in the eyes and say, "Ma'am, I am in my thirties." Then they run off.

People need to stop whining about Coyotes. They won't bother you. We get then in Scarborough all the time and I had one on my front lawn yesterday.

Until they run out of food supply. If coyotes run out of food supply they won't hesitate to attack smaller animals, small children and the elderly.

Good for you! I'll just send the 3 huge Coyotes that were on my city street, circling around my daughter and howling, to your place then! You can have them! I do NOT want them on my street in the middle of Toronto!

@@juneosborne3256 For one, Coyotes aren't huge. Two, gladly send them. My comment mentions they are here in my neighbourhood already. Again, stop whining. Its not a good look. Plus they weren't circling your daughter.

Yes they were absolutely cicling. I heard the howling and had to run to the door to get her back inside. I have reported the incident with both 311 and Toronto Animal Services and been told that there is nothing they will do unless they coyotes actually attack...Until someone gets bitten I do not feel safe to walk in my neigbourhood. I'm very upset that someone has to get hurt before they remove them!

No , feeding them is the worst thing to do for numerous reasons , it draws more and more of them into the neighborhood , makes them dependent , causes more encounters with people , kids , pets which leads to kids being chased , possibly bitten , pets being attacked possibly killed etc .

The underlying story is that the coyotes are technically unvaccinated
