Hi I’m a tad late just a question though were you able to have Infiniti calibrate the camera that came with this 2017 QX grille to work with your car or did you just reuse your OEM FX 50 front camera? I heard someone mention the camera that comes with this QX grille won’t work on older FX model due to software differences.

The old camera is the same as the 2017 one. You could've replaced the new camera with the old one and avoided to the calibration.

Yes It should fit, they won’t fit the 2009-2011 models

What was the outcome with getting the camera calibrated?. Could the dealer do it - and if so at what cost?. Thanks :)

I haven’t calibrated it yet. The camera still works with cruise control etc and all the sensors work. The only issue is the cam displays a small red X. Calibration was quoted at $100.

Look around KZbin and find the video where one guy opens the settings menu where you can calibrate the camera. It's 5 min job

I ordered the same grille for my 2012 FX50. I tried to remove the camera connector but it won't come off. Do you have any tips on how to remove the front camera connector?

Use small flat head screwdriver and squeeze ? I honestly don’t remember

@@AtlasWilder I tried prying it off with needle nose pliers but it won't come off. It looks like the standard electrical connector used on the MAF Sensors.

I was able to remove the connector. It's not something I plan to do again.
