Bringing back memories of when I worked for Royal Caribbean and some guests used to return from Cozumel so drunk. It was all hands on deck to get them back on. The wheelchairs came in handy. Not a pretty sight at all. Glad you did not have to be wheeled back on Morgan 😅 shew!

Wow! That was some tall frozen margarita! We were once in a taxi and a passenger wanted to dispute a charge $2 more than quoted. We quickly paid the driver and disappeared. He was taking this passenger over to the sign with posted prices! Cool idea to do your own food tour. We totally enjoy walking food tours and have done several on cruises.

We went to Ponchoes Backyard several years ago on a cruise line tour. I noticed the restaurant staff paid the tour guide for bring us in. Also, I have noticed that taxi drivers will try to change the prices but if you call them on it they will honor the original amount.

Years ago the place to go in Cozumel was Carlos n Charlie's what a fun place haven't been to the old part of the city lately don't know it it's still there. Back then you could get a margarita so large for about $55 bucks but you could split the cost and get ten straws for ten people and drink until you could not drink anymore. It was huge !

My first cruise in 2003 was to Cozumel (Carnival of course) and we docked down town. It was easy to walk into the central part of town and at the time it was thriving. Every other time I've been to Cozumel, it has been at that big port. I can see in your video how that has really had an impact on the downtown businesses. Between hurricane repairs and road work, I am not tempted to venture downtown any more. Both Pancho's and Wet Wendy's look like fun.

We got off the Equinox on Tues Dec 19th after sailing the ABC islands! This was our 3rd trip on the Equinox! We were in cabin 8334 which looks identical to your room! It was a long long hike!

@@VeryunOfficialTravelGuides the worst was the bed! Hubby can sleep anywhere but my hip killed me for the entire 9 day trip! It took a few days after we got off for it to re-adjust-but I'm old and I have lots of aches and pains! The balcony was very dirty and if you were out there barefoot your feet got pretty dirty so we wore shoes. We found the ship to be pretty cold so we both had to buy a sweatshirt! Found some wear and tear out and about on the ship compared to our 2020 trip. Also despite the fact that we had a speaker hanging on our balcony there was no where in our cabin or balcony where we could hear the announcements! Had to hang in the hallway. All in all we had a great relaxing time so would def cruise Equinox again! Positives were the staff seemed all happy and positive, food was good, and we had a great time!

Cozumel taxis are supposed to be priced total for up to four people. More than four people, you pay per person. So, yeah, your first taxi conned you.

Depends on if you want to eat and drink or just drink? Wet Wendy’s also has food, (but we didn’t eat there). Pancho‘s of course also has drinks. Maybe the biggest difference is that Pancho‘s is like a peaceful oasis and Wendy‘s has a party atmosphere. Does that help decide?

The road out front of Cozumel is fixed and back to normal but there’s still is construction just moved farther up the road so there’s still is construction on that road. It’s just moved up the road for 500 yards.
