I completely understand all the difficulties beginners may encounter. Even now, I still face various challenges in my own artwork. However, I have gained more confidence in overcoming these obstacles. My suggestion is to start with some simple images, at least to prevent yourself from getting stuck at the pencil drafting stage. 😊🎨

The gram weight of the sketchbook paper I currently use is 110gsm. Personally, I find this paper to be a bit too thin for my painting style. When applying the first layer of paint, the paper tends to wrinkle slightly. To avoid this issue, I would recommend using a heavier-weight paper, which is more suitable for gouache and can handle multiple layers of paint without wrinkling. Happy painting! 🌟@@sheliradragon

It took me about two days to complete this artwork, including painting, filming, and taking pictures. As for the brushes, I prefer to keep things simple, so I only used three brushes for this painting. I started with a larger brush to lay down the main colors and then used two smaller brushes to add details and refine the textures. I'm glad you appreciated the editing and attention to detail! I'm sorry, but I am unable to provide a Printable Sketch for every single video. Creating a Printable Sketch requires a significant amount of time as I strive to make the sketches clean and clear, scan and digitize them, and perform graphic processing. Currently, my plan is to release a painting tutorial video every month, accompanied by a Printable Sketch. It's just a very ordinary mechanical pencil that I've been using for a long time. In fact, I've forgotten where I got it from. Even the logo on the pencil has worn off. 💖

Sorry that I missed your question! I use a very regular automatic pencil for the sketches, probably a 2B or HB lead pencil. For me, it's usually more about the functionality rather than the specific brand or type.

Ah, I see what you mean! Actually, gouache is water-based, so it shouldn't smear the pencil lines too much, especially if you allow the pencil marks to dry completely before applying the gouache. However, if you're concerned about smudging, you can always lightly erase any pencil lines that might interfere with the paint. Experimenting with different techniques is part of the fun of painting, so feel free to explore what works best for you! 🎨😊
