I know I'm coming in a little late but if you haven't already tie-dyed your sweatshirt....wet it before you stick it in the dye. The dye will soak through the fabric better. The turmeric addition worked so well! And I love a mix of patterns in my decor so your stripes go perfectly with the large tie-dye pattern. I love how real you are in your videos!

I had to laugh when you were trying to put that paper towel holder on. I had to buy Velcro strips because the holder wouldn’t stay on with just the adhesive backing it had. I have started this thing where I use a coffee cup and then clean it as soon as I am finished with my tea or coffee. I would previously just put it in the sink and wait to clean dishes until I had a few. But, I have found it is so much easier to clean it and put it up right then. That one tiny thing made a huge difference in my stress level. 😊

Hey Carla. Love your calming videos. Just wanted to let you know that coffee isn’t expired. The freshest by date is a suggested date for super fresh coffee. But it can last a year. Most coffees don’t have the roasted date and freshest by date, those are usually in higher quality coffees.

For me, on rainy days, it depneds. i'm either binging a show or movies. Or I'm cleaning all the things. For instance. Last Saturday was a rainy day i decluttered my closet and a few other things. took 4 bags of clothes shoes and purses, about 100 hangers, some art work, and a record player (i bought a new better one finally after 13 years) to the goodwill. And i have 4 trash bags of clothes to send to threadup I just gotta go get the boxes pack and ship them off. still have more rooms to do and I would LOVE to tackle my husbands closet and drawers. OMG he has more clothes than I do and that's saying something.

Hi Carla, just wanted to let you know that I have successfully removed set-in stains multiple times by making a thick paste of baking soda and Dawn dish soap (maybe add a small amount of water to make it pasty) and covering the stains with it for a day or two. Wash and don’t dry with heat. If stain remains repeat the process. This usually works for me. Not saying it’s 100% successful, but I have rescued MANY items. Worth a try!

I love rainy days! Good thing I live in Washington. It's actually almost a bummer for me when the sun comes out. I like to clean and cook on rainy cozy days. I've recently started doing Diamond Art in the last 6 months and it's super relaxing. Playing games and watching my favorite You Tube channels is fun for me too. Samson looks cute in his coat. Hopefully he likes it minus the hood part. They always seem to make hoods that go way too forward and cover the dogs eyes/face. I thought it was just our dog since he's a Chihuahua.

I have about 30 pair of capris ( I love in FL ) But, I always reach for the Navy Blue, white or the other white lol But, I have yellow, turquoise, aqua, lt blue, grey, black, khaki, royal blue, red, pink, mint green, kelly green, orange, and lilac. Yes, I do! OMG Then, I have about 5 shirts that match each pr of capris!!!! I always wear the same 5 shirts. The white one, the other white one, the navy/green stripe one (so comfortable) My Liz Claiborne white shirt. Lol A yellow one with fish on it, and a turquoise striped shirt. But, as I said, I probably have about 50 shirts!!!

The duvet cover did turn out! I have been thinking of you this past weekend when I heard that the weather in LA was bad. Bad weather is an opportunity to do some work around the home. I had my declutter session with by daughter last week. I was able to let three large bags of clothes go. It was pretty easy because I had been thinking of what clothes I really wear. Now that I am retired I do not need the same amount of clothes.
