You're so wise, I'm impressed by how thoughtfully you describe everything. I just love your videos! Christmas is a sad time for a lot of people, but it's important to do like you said: spend it how we want to and make it less stressful. I won't be totally alone this Christmas since I have plans to go out and meet others, but when I come home I will watch movies with my cat. Have a lovely holiday and break!

As a family we have always appreciated quiet and simple Christmas holidays. We have British, Swedish and German heritage and embrace customs from all three. Our children are now adults, but still love to have a simple holiday. We decorate with a lot of candles and lights, have a small tree decorated with straw ornaments and silver pine cones. We like to make gingerbread too and make cozy meals. Time with family is always the best gift and being grateful for our home and our health is also important, when there is so much suffering everywhere. I wish you a joyous Christmas time with your family and I look forward to more of your wonderful videos after the holidays. 🌲

Hi from Rome. I found your words very comforting. I'll spend Christmas holidays by myself. And I'm happy with that. All my friends are surprised by that but I prefer so. I work in contact con general people all the year so my mind needs to rest and Christmas holidays are the perfect occasion. I'll prepare my vegetarian dishes, I'll eat panettone and watch Chistmas movies (Love Actually first of all!!). If you can make a gingerbread house, you are a crafty person 😊 But of course you can pick and choose! I’m always a bit puzzled by crafting something you can easily buy, like napkin rings. You can’t really buy home cooking or baking though. Something I really enjoy is a vintage garland hung above my bed … someone else’s craft actually 🤶
