Love your stories. I had so many bad dates and therefore stories and I have no idea which is the worst. I probably could answer what is the best a lot easier. But I will tell you that all those stories made me bette for sure..... I learned so much about people and myself. The story that comes to mind though , I met a guy on an online dating site, we chatted for a while and then talked by phone a while then decided to meet. He lived about 70 miles away (I live in CA, so that translates to at minimum a two hour commute) we decided to meet in the middle. I asked up front if the restaurant we were meeting at was reasonably priced, as I did not have a load of money, his words were “don’t worry about it, I have it covered” so I get there, he calls me and is running late, by late he meant an hour (I am always early so late bothers me) but ok, traffic can be a nightmare. He finally arrives, in a fancy, expensive car and wants to show it off to me..... I am not that girl.... be nice to me and the wait staff and we are good.... then he proceeded to tell me is a CEO of some company, again in my head it was “ok, whatever” So we go in the restaurant, we sit and it gets awkward.... I ask him if he has any siblings, radio silence...... then he said “um” and more silence, then he finally says he has a sister. I think ok, and then there is silence and he blurts out, “she is in an institution “ Well that was unexpected, and he proceeds to tell me a very long story. Dinner stays awkward and strained then the bill comes, when we ordered I was checking prices and he again said to not worry about it, but the bill arrives and he picks it up starts to pay and says, well you can leave the tip now. I am ok with that, but I felt he had told me the bill and everything was on him, so I was not prepared, the tip should have been $30, and I had no cash. At this point I excuse myself, go inside and explain to the staff that I was uncomfortable and unprepared and I was sorry but needed an escape route. They helped me sneak out the back door and got me to the car and I drove home. He called me the next day to set up our next date. Then emailed me and continued calling. I told him that I was sorry but didn’t feel any chemistry and that we would not be going out again. He kept emailing me for a while then eventually stopped. I went back to the restaurant a few days later and gave the staff a tip and made sure the bill was settled and told them I was ever so thankful. Pretty awkward date....... great card, love that mouse and the red made me think of Mickey.......

My worst date happened Easter weekend my junior year. I was dating a guy from a couple towns over, but worked in my tiny town. Instead of attending Easter dinner with my family at my grandparents, I spent it with Craig and his family. After dinner, while listening to music and looking at his yearbook he said, Do you think your parents would mind if I dated your sister, too??? I was so shocked I didn’t know what to say, so I said nothing!! I couldn’t wait for my parents to pick me up!! Goodness, that’s been about 38 years ago and I still can’t believe he asked me that!

Love your work and your stories. Here is my worst date story: It was 1971, I was 18; working part time in a family restaurant so I always had change from tips. I didn’t listen to my gut and agreed to double date with a friend who then backed out of the evening. My date picked me up to go to a movie. We had time to kill so he decided to go to Dairy Queen on the way. A cop hits the lights for him to pull over. He was driving a little fast but this stretch was known to be a speed trap. He looks at me before the cop gets to the car and says “Act German”. Huh? He added, “this town was settled by Germans, they’ll be nicer if they think we’re like them.” He had outstanding tickets, a few speeding but mostly parking. They were taking him in. The cop said bail would be $25 cash which my date didn’t have. The cop asked if I knew how to drive his stick shift to get home. I could, just barely. I went home and got $25 in rolled change to post bail. The desk sergeant thought that was hilarious. My date wrote me a check but asked me not to cash it for five days. I cashed the check, told him no to a second date and months later ran into the cop who still thought $25 worth of change was funny, 😄 That was 48 years ago and I haven’t driven a stick since.

Kelly, nice recovery on the blue wall. By the way, I kinda liked the blue wall. Love the card no matter what color the wall is! Worst date ever: I went out on a pity date with someone that I had known for several years. We had never been more than casual acquaintances, and I always thought of him as awkward and geeky. We would see each other around campus once in a while and say "hi", talk for a few minutes and then would each go our own way. Anyway, one day he asked me out for a casual date to a dance and singing performance on campus. The invite caught me off guard and I couldn't think of a way to say "no" without offending him. I reasoned that he was a nice guy who probably got told "no" a lot. So, I said yes, even though we had zero in common. Zero. Big fat zero. Fast forward, we are on our date, sitting in a campus arena that held about 23,000 people. It was full. The show began, and so did my date. He started acting all lovey-dovey, putting his arm around me, rubbing my shoulder, holding my hand with his other hand, pulling me in close to him. I wanted to vomit. I tried telling him "no", pulling away from him, sitting forward and making my hands unavailable, folding my arms tight across myself, and leaning closer to the stranger next me. My date told me to knock it off and relax and that I was embarrassing him. I was starting to feel a little desperate. I glanced at the people behind me; they were clearly aware that there was a problem, but just as clearly they weren't sure how to help me. Suddenly a thought occurred to me and smack dab in the middle of one of the performances I jumped up and announced that I needed to go to the bathroom. Without missing a beat, I climbed over the back of my seat and pushed passed the row of people behind us. Once I got to the steps that lead up to the main floor of the arena, I started running. I mean I ran like the wind, and kept running all the way home to my apartment where I broke out into hysterical laughter. Oddly enough, I never saw that guy again anywhere on campus. I've often thought about the shocked look on his face as I scrambled past him on my way to the "bathroom". I've also wondered how long he sat there alone in the arena before he realized that I was NOT coming back.

Love your stories, my worst date was my very first date ( a blind date when I was nearly 30 parent's didn't let me date as a teenager and I concentrated on getting my career started). He was excited to take me to one of the first Star War's movies. I didn't know anything about Star Wars and it really wasn't my "thing" so I wasn't having the best time. About midway thru the movie I reached over to get some popcorn that he was holding.At the same time that he moved and I ended up knocking the bucket over. He got irate, picked up the bucket, threw it in the air so the remaining popcorn rained down on everyone around us. He then stormed out of the theater leaving me stranded there without a ride home.!!! No need to say I didn't go on any more blind dates. PS love the card.

Luckily, I moved on and am now married 27 years to an awesome man. We don’t celebrate Valentines Day though. I’ve never been into it and I think he’s grateful. lol

Great story, great card! I love watching you change direction & the follow through. My tough date was senior prom... my date was new in the beighborhood. My boyfriend wouldn't go & his girlfriend was states away. He was in auto shop & had been priming his car all week... blue all over his nails & hands. He ended up renting white gloves for the pictures and dance. We also got lost going to the hotel where the prom was being held. Good news was, years later he was a groomsman in our wedding & we're still friends.

I have only dated my husband who I met at work when I was 17. Had a couple of "boyfriends" from our church mates really but this was my first date to the cinema which was at his side of town. I got of the bus at the stop he told me but at the wrong end of the road. I stood for 1 hour and thought how was I going to see him at work the next day if he has stood me up. He eventually came he was waiting at the other end of the road and thought I'd stood him up he was walking away when he thought she might be at the other end and he turned back. No mobiles then either. Needless to say we missed the film but got coffee. We will be married 45years in April.💕

Love your stories, they are so great. I thought the card looked great with the teal wallpaper, of course, the red is awesome too, beautiful card as always. Ok, if you want to really hear my worst date, here it is. I was about 22, I went on a date to a movie & dinner with a guy that I had known as a friend for several months . He was the perfect gentleman all evening; holding the car door open, pulling out my chair at the restaurant. Well...after the movie, he drove to a popular "parking spot"--lovers lane...he then proceeded to tell me, if I didn't do something sexual on him, he would never ask me out again, my reply, "TAKE ME HOME NOW, & IF YOU DO ASK ME OUT AGAIN, I'LL TELL MY 6'4" 250lb FATHER WHAT YOU JUST SAID TO ME & WHAT HE'LL DO TO YOU WONT BE PRETTY", obviously, this guy was an a-hole & no longer my friend either after this horrible date, lol

LMAO! Pager and pay phone! My kids found my pager like a year ago. Mind you my children are 24 and 22. So I am in the dinosaur age too. I was cracking up when you said that..my worse date was my Jr. year of high school. My so called BFF set me up with her boyfriends brother. She said we had a ton in common and we would get along great! So it was a double date to dinner and movies (Drive-in). The 3 of them pick me up, we head to dinner. I can say the Brother was very cute. He was already graduated high school and first year of college. Steve was my dates name. We all get to a steak restaurant, I ordered my food, I am not shy when it comes to eating. We finished our meals and the waiter comes and asked if it was all on one bill. Steve said those two are on one, her and I are separate. I just looked at him like WTfreak?! Thank god I always kept cash or my dads credit card on me. So we all paid our bills. I excused myself to the rest room, since the pay phones are right there. I called my dad told him I had to use his card because my date didnt pay for my dinner, my dad said well he most likely wont pay for the movies either. So go a head and pay for yourself. I said thank you and hung up. We get to the drive-in, my BFF and her boyfriend paid, I handed Steve my fathers credit card and he took it upon himself to pay for himself using my dads card! Again the WTFREAK! Didn’t say anything to Steve, get to the food court of the drive-in, so I quickly ordered my popcorn, coke and Reese’s cups. Headed back to the car. 10 mins later Steve said “Babe did you grab me some popcorn and coke too?” I said nope oh and I am so not your Babe either. So Steve’s brother had to pay for him to get popcorn and a drink. As the guys were back at the food court, I told my BFF that I was very upset with this date, and we have yet to connect on any level and he is rude! She rolled her eyes and said whatever. Long story short Steve dropped them off first and my BFF’s house since her parents were not home..... He was taking me home, as I was trying to get out of his car he grabbed my arm and planted the most gross kiss ever and I pulled away and said WTF**K are you doing? Well happened to be standing outside was one of my uncles that’s like 5 years old than I. He pulled Steve out of the driver window and pinned him to his car and said 1. She didnt want to kiss you, 2 your didnt pay for her dinner 3 you used her fathers card to pay for yourself to get into to the drive in. You are not a man and I never want see you near her again do you understand me? Oh and you will reimburse her father for every dime she had to pay for this date do you understand that too? He said yes sir and left. A week later there was a check made out to my father. That was my worse date.

Love the mouse card. My worst date was I was introduced to this guy though a friend. But only start chatting via phone. We finally set up a meet and he pull-up with in a sport car. When he gets out of the car his pants are super tight he couldn't walk ( lol ) and I noticed when we chat he sounded drunk. I finally said are a drinker? He answer was he doesn't drink . Finally I pulled it out if him he was taken antipsychotics medication. Thank God we both drove own car for our 1 date. I stopped taken his call blocked him and since he had not clue where I lived. Kelly. My date to my senior prom gave me a wrist corsage made out of fake flowers that his mother made. It did not last through the dance. Sadly the flowers all came apart and fell off the wrist holder. He also told me the only reason he took me to the prom was because he liked a girl in my class but someone asked her before he could.

You may not love the card, but I do. He’s a cute little guy. You’re going to make me try making cards rather than quilts, which might be bad for my budget. Worst date, Reader’s Digest Condensed version: early 80’s underage drinking of Everclear at frat party. Guy thought he was going to get lucky when he was kissing me like crazy at my dorm room door. I suddenly pulled back and immediately barfed on his shoes. I have no idea why, but he was no longer as interested in kissing me. He left, and I have never been so sick before or after, but relieved I didn’t have to try to fight off unwanted attention.

My worst date ever was freshman year of college, we (5 people) were riding to the movies in a small pickup truck, so I had to sit on my dates lap, so that already was uncomfortable, ok....as I was getting settled my date Wayne closes the door ......on my fingers! Yep, on my fingers! They were curled backwards into the open window! I mean BACKWARDS, as in not the way fingers bend naturally......after a 10 hour trip to the ER and an awkward phone call with my parents for insurance info....we made it back to my dorm. And if ya are wondering, we did go a nice uneventful second date....so with the polar vortex happening the three fingers that was broken in two places each are a reminder of my very first date ever in college...lol

I've had several bad dates over the years so it's hard to pick just one. The one that pops into my head, though, is one where we went to a Cardinals baseball game. I'm a huge Cardinals fan, so that's a great place to take me...right? Well, I'd only been out with this guy a few times, so we were still getting to know each other. Somehow or other we met up with this guy's buddy & my date's ex-girlfriend. The whole thing was bizarre, but the two worst things are that they were all just talking about everything under the sun during the game. Dude! It's baseball. Shut up and watch. If you're not talking about the game, don't talk! (Of course I didn't say that, but I was thinking it.) And then around the 7th inning the three of them decide they want to leave. I guess my opinion didn't matter. Anyway, that was my last date with that guy.

Since she knew him very well I let him pick me up and we went to movies. During the movie he wouldn’t stop trying to put his hand up my skirt. After I slapped his hand and said no several times. So I excused myself to go to the “restroom” and left the theatre (it was at a mall) I walked to the complete other side Incase he came looking for me and called my other friend to come pick me up.

I'm there with you about thinking and planning my next card (it helps get me through 30 mins. on my Elliptical), my husband thinks I'm a bit obsessed, with which I totally agree! Worst date was way, way back in high school when a boy I'd had a huge crush on for months finally asked me out to a movie at a theater in downtown Portland, which required going over one of bridges into town. Unknown to us, this was the same evening as one of the big summer parades downtown. We drove around forever, trying to get across the river and and to the theater, and kept running into multiple closed roads. So, he gives up and just takes me home. No stop for soda, coffee, nothing. And then he never asked me out again. I laugh now but I was so heartbroken at the time. Thanks for sharing your story, so typical of teens. I would have felt the same at 15 about a corsage made without real flowers.

Love your card. That mouse looks so cute with the snaggle tooth. My worst date was a first date. This guy had been hanging around my work and talking and finally asked me out. Now, I didn't know him very well and that's important. He picked me up and we started off. I live in the middle of NC and we went to a city about 45 minutes north but then we got on the interstate. Well, we rode and rode until here comes the Virginia line. I half-jokingly said anything he did would be worse because he had transported me across state lines. We finally got to Danville and to the steak house that he wanted to go to. It was full, waiting time...2 hours. Uh, no. I hadn't eaten since 6 am and it was now around 7 pm. We finally found a parking space at Outback, not where he had planned but was literally the only one that had a parking space in the whole city. We went in and put our name on the list. Well, people kept coming in and getting tables and I was really hangry! Finally, an hour and a half later they came to take us to our table. I was such a witch by this time I couldn't even stand myself. Like a petulant child, I wasn't having anything to eat but I ordered a large margarita. I was hateful to the waitress and to him, making snarky remarks about it being so late and no one was left to seat, in a very loud voice. The manager came over and explained that the other people had phoned ahead. I was having none of it. I wouldn't even look at him. I don't think I spoke all the way home and I was still mad the next day. I really thought I would never see him again but he called the next day and asked me out again. He must have been a masochist. We dated about 6 months but, meh. As I write this, I realize what a horrible human being I was that night. I have never shown my butt out in public like that before and never since. In fact, I am so ashamed of my actions and I won't ever act like that again.

Love the card. I will admit that this year I am not sure about Valentines Day for me and my husband. We had some difficulties this past year and every romantic holiday seems to be scarred by the difficulty. We are still together and working things out, yet I am not looking forward to Valentines Day this year. I can't say if I really had a horrible date. Each gentleman that I dated was a perfect gentleman and we always had a good time. I didn't date while in high school or college. Just the way it rolled for me. I only dated 2 men seriously and one of them is my husband now. lol.

I can’t think of a “worst date “ story. I have a story about my oldest son’s prom. I grew up with 3 sisters, no brothers. I had 2 sons. My husband was always working holidays, weekends, any time he could get over time, which included the first prom for my son. So it’s up to me to help him with his tux, of which I have never worn. Lol. He’s dressed and we have all these little button like things left over. Cuff links are in place. What the heck are these??? After thinking for a long time, I figured out they were button covers for his shirt. Who knew??? But since you brought up the subject of high school, I started thinking and realized.....gulp....this year it is 50 years since I graduated high school. 😱😳😣😖😭 At least I don’t feel or think of myself as that old. 😝

So my worst date was a double date thru a singles group at church. Boys pick us up we go out to a nice restaurant. Neither if the boys brings any money. The other girl no money. So I being a responsible adult end up paying for the dinner. Since no one had any money for things afterward they took me home. Only the other girl gave me any money back.....

Adorable -such wonderful coloring! Okay so a guy I knew casually had just broken up with an acquaintance and asked me out to a really cool jazz concert. I didn't know him that well, so I chatted with a friend about whether or not this was as friends or a date. She convinced me that he asked me out for the pleasure of my company and of course it was a date- if you like him, go! He shows up right on time in his car, all dressed up etc. I think: okay it is a date. Waiting for the concert to start, he turns to me and says Yeeeah these tickets sure were expensive. Like really expensive! I'm thinking: wonder where this is going? I mumbled something like erm, I'm happy to chip in...? As my voice was trailing off, he quickly says: That would be great! I'm like: Uhh, will a check be OK? I was a freelance writer at the time and pretty broke and could never have afforded the concert myself. I wasn't even sure if the check would clear -- I mean these were really really expensive tickets! LOL I claimed a headache after we got out, which I think completely confused him but I was afraid of what I would owe him for coffee or dinner afterward after spending all that money on the concert. hahahaha I couldn't wait to get home and back to my dog, who, for the record, never asked me to pay for an expensive date that he invited me to :)

I think my worst Valentine's Day was when I was a senior in high school. I had a date to a Valentine's banquet with kids from our church youth group. My date stood me up on Valentine's Day. 😫💔 Plus, I still had to go to the banquet because I was a youth leader! I was totally crushed and embarrassed. I found out later that he was at the skating rink with another girl, who was also named Lisa! A month later I heard that they eloped because she was pregnant. Guess they did more than skate on Valentine's Day! 🤣

Ok, I’m not one for cutesy animal cards, but I LOVE the little mouse. The buck teeth totally made him! And yeah, I have to say, the red wall worked better to me, too. Uhhh... worst date story. I dated this guy that I met through a work function, and he took me to a party in a neighborhood I didn’t know. Dude actually didn’t have a car, so he drove my car to the party (should have been a red flag, right?). This is a huge warehouse party that he is involved with planning, everyone knows him, I get introduced around and end up all over the place. Long story short, I’m tossed around between a bunch of strangers, and never could locate him until the end of the evening. Fortunately, everyone there was super nice, and took great care of me. When I finally find him, the party has been over for a good while, and he’s on the floor in the fetal position, dead drunk, lying in a pool of HIS OWN URINE. I had to figure out how to get me and my car out of this neighborhood in south Dallas (before the days of GPS), I got lost, and finally ended up back home after getting help from the police department at like, 5am. I swear, the neighborhood didn’t have a gas station. Lots of bbq. A mom and pop bodega that was closed. No gas station! Omg. I’m getting a panic attack just remembering all this. I was so scared. With all this said, the kicker was that this was a Halloween party and I was in a frickin’ WITCH COSTUME! At the police department! 🤦🏻‍♀️ Sigh. Totally my mistake. I was a lot more cautious about dating after that. I also learned the neighborhoods in Dallas - I could drive a cab around Dallas, now. Lol

I loved hearing your story, Kelly, & so did my mom. In fact, she requested one of your videos today! You pretty much always make us laugh, so we both love your videos. LOL I quite honestly don't have a worst--or even a best--date story, as I've never in my 44 years of life been on a date! The closest I ever got to a date was going to a symphony concert with another music major when I was in college. The one & only reason I went was to get bonus points (I forget why I wanted/needed them) towards my course work, and I didn't drive, but he did, so he drove me home. I don't think either of us said a single word the whole 45-minute drive from the auditorium to my house! If I recall, all I said was how to get to my house, and thanked him for the ride home. I have never been romantically attracted to anyone, so I just never bothered even trying to date. Anyhoo, I really love how your card came out, Kelly! It's so strange hearing stories about dating. When I was growing up living in Aus we never date dated. OMG Kelly this is sweet. I love the teeth. LOL Great stories. I could tell you a couple of stories of my dating experiences from when I was a teenager but it would take to long. Lets just say this: his name was Shirley (for REAL!) he was a nice enough guy and we did go out on a couple of dates, however that was more because I was hoping to catch the eye of his friend (which I never did)! KIDS!! LOL It is a long/funny and convoluted story too so I'll leave it there but dating is STRESSFUL when you are a teen!

My worst date was in my early twenties. It was a first and last date. We went to this dessert restaurant. He told the waiter we were sharing a piece of cake. To bring two forks. Excuse me I want my own piece of cake. He dropped me off at end of the evening. He reached over to kiss me, I opened the car door and got out of there quickly.

I always imagine/see the sky as distress ink colors esp during sunset lol. As far as bad dates go... I’ve had a couple but the worst one I remember is my boyfriend falling asleep at the wheel and almost killing both of us :( Thankfully alive and well. Tfs your stories and your card!!!

Oh so cute! My worst date was a first date at a karaoke bar. When he was singing his song the Karaoke DJ insisted on pressing a mic in my hands and literally pushed me on stage to sing along with him. He didn't enjoy sharing his moment, didn't bother telling me he was peeved and ignored me the rest of the night. I still had fun without him! Needless to say I didn't go out with him again!TFS!

Thanks for sharing! In the UK we don't have homecoming and when I was at school we didn't have Prom either. It is a newer thing here. The first and only time I went out with someone younger than me (he was 19 and I was 23), I was working and he wasn't. I get home from work we go out and he spends all night telling me what level he got to on his video game that day (Doom). Then he said he had been contemplating what to do for a job and fancied being a window cleaner but was scared of heights!! (I know!). So I ended it after that and he cried when I broke up with him and I felt terrible!

Great card! I love Mae the Mouse. My worst date ever was a blind type date in high school. I had met him briefly will cruising in a car he was sitting and we were talking threw car windows. He asked me out so I said ok. We ended up going to the movie and saw Monte Python The Meaning of Life. Worst movie especially for a first date. If you like dry humor you would like, but for a first date it was horrible. On top of that he was a little on the short side for me.

1st-love this card (i have this release) and its fantastic. I love how u redid it. The dark red does look better. 2nd....my worse date. Ill be brief. I was 23,24 and me and my roomate lived in the ground level of a house (mother/daughter house) and 3 hot guys upstairs (2 were brothers n 1 owned home) we had an inground pool. An outdoor 'florida room' with a keg-arator,oh yeah! Good wild times. Well i hooked up with 1 of the brothers who i liked for awhile. We saw "dances with wolves" went out to dinner. All nice. We go home to my apt and we are messsing around n its great. Then out of the blue in the middle of hot n heavy stuff.....he....he farts! 😱😬 i froze. He says "do u have a mouse?" And laughs. I was repulsed! Then we kinda start up again after i tried to block out his GI blunder..... he says "do u want a lollypop" 😝 i said "ew! Ok.. no no.. ok you need to go now!". So needless to say we didnt continue our courtship🤣🤣🤣. Yeah...worse date ever. You adked,lol.

Now I really have to get that stamp set that mouse is adorable. My worst date ever ..short version.. I was talked into going out with a boy/man that I kind of knew but wasn't really interested in (should have gone with my gut). He arrived having had a few drinks (I'm not impressed) we went to the restaurant were he behaved badly and you know when the people at the next table are feeling uncomfortable that things are not going to end well. I can't remember what the last straw was but I decided I couldn't take a full evening of this,so I cut it short and said I really don't think this is a good idea so I would like to go home. I've been on some bad dates in my time but that one really took the cake.

He tried calling me and when I wouldn’t return his call he became furious and belligerent, I became a B, he told me I would never met anyone on and on! But now I was wondering why I really want a cupcake & to go on a fun date? Hmmm, worst date story; I went on a blind date to a movie when I was 15. I’ve never liked slasher movies & I didn’t realize that’s what the movie was, let’s just say I got up & walked out of the movie theater 🎭. That was the one & only date with that guy. It would have been nice to of been asked what movie I would have liked to see, I don’t think that’s part of the blind aspect of the date…water waaayyy under the bridge now. I had to use pay phones back in the day too. Ah memories. Gratefully life is full of blessings😇

my worst date was when i had a long distance relationship with a guy in London, i travelled down as i live in Newcastle we were going to a party i didn't know anyone except him we walked into the kitchen he excused himself and left me standing there, but he obviously didn't know me that well i waited for a little bit maybe 5 mins then i went and found myself a drink and just socialised a few hrs it seemed i was drinking i ended up dancing with a guy friendly only i was enjoying myself when he decided to come find me he was foaming he totally expected me to still be stood in the kitchen lol needless to say that was the end of that relationship. x

My worst date was probably after my marriage ended & you was getting back into dating. We had gone out on several dates, he was ok, older than me, polite etc etc. Now on one date he had gone on about important to be honest with each other, no lies, yep fine by me. I was totally honest from beginning, single mom, 24, cute daughter. He was divorved, no family, owned own company. Now one night we are out, he drove, we need fuel ( gas) so we stop & he sorts out fuel leaving me sitting in his car. It's very late & dark & usually I drive as I don't drink. But tonight he drove. So while he's sorting out fuel payment & I don't know why but I turned round to look in the back, don't know why ? There is a car seat for a baby ????? So he gets back in the car & we're going along & I say " whose is the seat ? " Erm, erm, he pulls over. " I like you " he says, " ok thanks" says me confused. "Well the seat belongs to my son ! He's only 9 months & usually the seats in his moms car" he says. I'm quiet, son, mom ! He continues "but I was running late to get you as my boss came in late to take over & I didn't get time to take the seat out & put it back in my wives car. " So Mr Honest has gone from own company & singke, no family to employee, married with baby, so I just say " wife, baby, honesty ! " He drives me home in silence. We get to my house & he turns & says " So can I call you tomorrow ? " He was surprised when I said no !! Worst date !

From what I’ve heard about other worst dates, that date was disappointing but nothing compared to what other girls have endured. Stuff like being stuck with a huge check when he ordered lobster, she ordered salad and he took off after claiming to go to the bathroom. Or guys who were super rude and obnoxious to restaurant staff. Or just very judgmental and insulting. Stuff like that. Look up Buzzfeed dating horror stories. Some are truly horrible. Not to say that it didn’t hurt at the time. I was just glad for you that it wasn’t much worse because when you described it as your worst date I was apprehensive for you. I’ve got a very limited dating history as I dated one guy for 3 months then married the next guy I dated after only 5.5 months of knowing him! So I don’t really have a worst date story. Oh hang on, I do! Just remembered (it’s over 20 years ago!!)! It was the last date before I decided to dump my only boyfriend. I’d already decided but we had planned to go with a group to a viewing of the last Star Trek: TNG showing on the jumbo tron at SkyDome in Toronto. So I thought I’d wait til after. We are from a very religious group so he’d only held my hand and kissed my cheek in 3 months. That was ok BTW. He kept snuggling up to me and putting his hand on my leg. No connection at all. I kept pulling away and he wasn’t getting it. Other people did though they may have thought I was being ‘good’ in front of them or embarrassed rather than just over him. I finally told him after the show. He didn’t show it then but he was devastated. Eventually he found and married a girl who was quite like me in looks and personality. Btw, I dumped him because he was going nowhere. I was recently graduated from college as an RN and he was taking computer classes. He never went but instead stayed home to call me! I was working part time at night so had time in the day but I was sick of his lack of work ethic. Good think too because just a few months later I got sick with lupus and have worked only a bit here and there since and not for many years. We’d have been in huge trouble if I’d married him!
