I love the idea of painting the glass tops, and then flipping them over! 👏 ❤ Someone may have already said this, but while Linda was standing in front of the garage window I thought glass reflecting the garden would be beautiful. Either by finding the perfect size mirror to set in the opening, maybe a gold ornate frame, or even painting the inside of the garage window with spray paint that looks like mercy glass. ☺️

I painted a small glass table top and used a wood graining tool on it. Like you said turn the painted side down. It held up really well.

The tiered round table: don’t paint the glass. As it is now it kinda disappears into the background. I think if you paint the glass, it will be more obvious if you don’t have anything on it. It is a very versatile as is. Your dining table, paint the glass. BTW, love the new ‘do, makes you look younger.

Great finds, and plans for Fall! You have got me thinking of what to gather together for our family reunion in a couple weeks. A basket of blankets, wood for bonfires, extra outdoor seating, get hubby to put up the solar lights, set up the serving table etc. Love your new table, and the look of the wood. Living in the midwest I am a big fan of cashmere. The sweaters I bought are a coldweather elevated staple. A shawl is a great addition!

We had a S'Mores Bar at a wedding party that I helped host. There was a variety (a myriad to use an LV word) of cookies, chocolates, and marshmallows to use. Just go down the cookie aisle and select chocolate cookies, coconut cookies, chocolate caramel cookies, etc. Select a variety of dark, milk, and white chocolate candy bars. including Ghirardelli caramel squares. Next select several different marshmallows. Plain square marshmallows, toasted coconut covered, chocolate flavored marshmallows, strawberry flavored marshmallows, etc. I used a wooden window box that I purchased at a big box store. I filled it with sand, then covered the sand with smooth black rocks and nestled 3 columnar candles as the heat source.The S'Mores Bar was a big hit. I think the men enjoyed it as much as the women.

This past Summer, my grandsons and I were making S’mores every week. We would make a cut in the big size marshmallows and stick in a Milk Dud to have a bit of chocolate and caramel. There are also round flat marshmallows which look nicer for serving. We broiled them in the oven which is much easier when you want to make a large tray for a crowd. 😋

Linda, painting the glass table top is a good idea. Just another idea though. Our tempered glass tabletop shattered a couple years ago so my hubs put a wood top on and we’ve let it weather and it’s so beautiful. That being said…how about wood that’s the same as your new table instead of painting the glass. Btw love your bangs combed back. Really brings out your beautiful features.

Hi from Annie the cozy feel is catchy and it is great. You can never be over doing something like this as the more the better. Blankets and throws are a must for colder times. Candles add that heat to the atmosphere Fragrance to is a nice addition to overall setting be it inside or out fragrance is nice to have. Extra fairy lights are ys so welcoming. Toasting marshmallows over a wood fire is so nice. Music is a great mood setter of course. Comfort foods of all kinds are really important too.Lovely pots of bright coloured flowers are great in all seasons. I know over the years many folks have had a TV outside that is a great idea. These days those screens can be so nice and when not in use a picture of your choice or image can se on the screen like a wall paper.

Love what you’ve done with your back garden, it is looking so cozy and beautiful. I love the wooden side table and thought how wonderful it would look if the dinner table would match the side table. Love the warm wood tones. I also had this crazy idea wallpapering the little window in the shed behind the two tier round table with a kind of frost look. I also thought that the round two tier table would looks so cute using vintage ceramic pieces of broken plates or mirror, a mosaic look. It was just a thought I had while watching your awesome video. Linda I caught this episode just now. As you were talking about the glass in the back yard. You had mentioned zen retreat “smoky grey”. Let me tell you… like you would say I can hear you voice saying that! My favorite thing I enjoy painting on and have done so with many gifted things for mri ends and family. Yes thrifted things brought back to life. Amazed and just wanted to touch your heart my friend Linda, my motto is: paint it for you with what makes you happy, put a smile on your face all day long. I did write to you but not sure you did get or that I got the best ways to get my message to you but I tried. “Long story short” I am in Amarillo and love your suggestions being we are in similar zones.
