I always put my candles inside of a big hurricane glass because I'm super paranoid. They're nice to have too because you can decorate the bottom with colored rocks or sand and make it festive for the season. I just leave the candle in the container it comes in so there's no messy wax to clean up

It’s getting into the cooler months but still haven’t had our “late summer” yet but I’m ok with it either way. A small storm is passing over us which is really nice compared to the 90° weather we've been having. We're usually pretty hot until mid November. Loving this cooler weather right now. We bought 4 pumpkins 🎃 a few weeks ago so we could paint them with our grandchildren. Last weekend we decided to dig the seeds out and we made pumpkin seeds in the oven. What you do is boil 1 cup of water per 1/2 cup of pumpkin seeds with 1 tablespoon of salt per 2 cup of water. Boil for 10 mins then bake them in the oven on 400 degrees for about 20 mins. Perfect. Oil your cookie sheet lightly then when seeds are done boiling spread on cookie sheet and mix the oil all over the seeds before baking in oven.
