♥PUMPKIN BREAD RECIPE♥
*NOTE* The full recipe is for 2 loaves of pumpkin bread, I cut this recipe in half in the video!
3 ½ c. flour
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
3 c white sugar
1 c oil
4 eggs, beaten
2 cups pumpkin puree
⅔ c water
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease two loaf pans.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder, nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon and pumpkin spice.
In a large bowl blend sugar, oil and eggs. Stir in pumpkin. Slowly blend the flour mixture into pumpkin mixture. While blending the mixture add water incrementally. Pour the batter into two prepared loaf pans.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 60 minutes, or until a butter knife inserted comes out clean. Let cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan.

Oh myyyyyyyyy. I am trying to lose some pounds (read tons). Pumpkin bread is one of my MOST favourite treats! The problem, is being an empty-nester and married to someone who doesn’t like pumpkin. 😱 Weird, right??? How does it freeze please, Leigh Ann, or does the family devour it before you have a chance? It's gobbled up in one day 🤣😅 but I have made 2 loaves and froze one it freezes beautifully! My mother in law freezes portions of it for herself and it works out great for her. Trying to do better myself counting calories and getting 10,000 steps each day. Getting those steps isn't as easy as it was many pounds ago 🫣🤐
