Beautiful base bro. I remember a long time ago I started my first TWD Comics "Rick Grimes" playthrough where I started in the hospital, injured and tired, and I found my way over to a farm after some time and stayed there until one of the generators exploded and burnt most of it down. I grabbed what I could and left there in my RV and lived out on the road for weeks and eventually I found the rosewood prison which I stayed at for literal months until I looted most of Rosewood and accidently dragged a gigantic horde with me all the way over to the prison and I ended up having to sacrifice the prison by bombing the whole thing with pipe bombs, and then I had to drive around for weeks again, back on the road with little supplies and while living on the road I also got bit in my right hand and had to amputate it to survive. I cauterized the stump in my RV's oven and had to rest for days until I was healed enough to continue driving around the map. I eventually found my way back to Lousville and looked for a base nearby and I found the gated community which I used as an "Alexandria" copy basically. I fenced off certain parts of it because the gated community is fenced in but it just needed some gates and extra protection which I added and I survived there for months and then I started a building project so I could have a second home nearby incase something happened to my gated community. I didn't finish it completely but I managed to make a small town-like place nearby in the middle of a forest where I had a farm and I also used it as a cabin to be honest, went there every other day. Eventually as time passed, my character passed 1 year survived and I was actually feeling depressed FOR my character at a point because I had a pretty high zombie spawn but my place was just so safe that I cleared some Zomboids every supply run but nothing I couldn't handle, so at one point I drove all the way over to Mauldraugh where I visited Kate & Bob's house from the old Zomboid tutorial, and I looted a lot until I was bit right in the neck. Started bleeding like crazy but I bandaged it up and drove home. I knew I had 3 days left to live. I decided to let my character live his last days NOT peacefully. I decided to do all the risky things I've wanted to do on that playthrough and I got home on the last day when my character was dying slowly. I drank some good stuff and danced to music in my house before I put on "Time after Time" and laid down in my bed to die. Not long after, my character passed away peacefully in his bed after surviving 1 year, 1 month and 3 days. That 1 year might not be very much but it was for me, hell of an adventure. Started in a hospital bed, lived at a peaceful farm, lived in a prison, lived in my RV, found a home and lived there until my character died. As soon as Build 42 comes out I wanna do one of these things again. I liked that I didn't have to SCRIPT anything, I just let everything happen and eventually it was over.

See, this looks fuckin awesome. I bought the game thinking I would get to do stuff like this but I can’t survive more then 10 minuets in game. I don’t know how you guys do it. I’ve watched all the tutorial vids on KZbin and still I get mauled by zombies almost immediately.

The game has quite flexible difficulty settings. You can change the number of zombies and increase the amount of loot for example. There's nothing wrong with that. You don't have to learn the hard way. After all, the main thing here is to have fun.

I really enjoyed this video. Zomboid is the true testiment to dedication as a player. I have grinded so hard to level up my carpentry to lvl 6. A really nice construct in this video. I like the detail about the escape van at the ready near the rear entrance. The guitar play was a great ending. Is that a mod by chance? All he needs now is friends to rejoice with, but perhaps he prefers the solitude.

I have had a couple of zomboid sessions to get my head around the concept of all parts of the game. And I have yet so much to learn and achieve. On my current play session I've taken refuge in one of the bigger white villas in riverside, a couple of blocks north of the school. Windows and doors barricaded, apart from one window as entry point. As well as the garage door, but I try not to use it to much since it's noise attractions zombies. One evening (ingame) I had open and closed the garage doors, and moments later heard the faint hiss and steps of zombies lurking about outside my hideout. It was so tense to sit there all quiet and listening to what the zombies was up to. Would they start banging the non barricaded window? Luckily I remained concealed from their presence. To be contiuned haha...

Man i play on my friends server, at first it was crowded with our friend but then it just become dead server after building a base in mulddrough like this, sometime 1 people are online but most of the time its just me maintaning the base alone without anyone, its kinda bittersweet after all the hardwork but i guess PZ is not for everyone who has limited time and those who can stay with just 1 game. Well, they'll add animals to the game so it won't be so lonely. Rats, cockroaches and other living creatures will roam everywhere. NPCs are planned to be added in build 43, it seems, so it will be somewhere in 2030 lol.

I loved Project Zomboid when I played it for the first 10+ runs but I never really got past a month in the game and I'm kinda tired of it. Everything about this game is great except the fact that zombies are the only enemies you can fight and theres nothing else to do than survive. It is realistic down to the bone but for me it needs some kind of variety.

If you are bored because it is too easy, then try reducing the amount of loot to a minimum in the sandbox settings, turn on zombie respawn, start the game without water and electricity. Also in the workshop there are many interesting mods that can change the game dramatically, so don’t neglect them. But to be honest, that's just the way the game is. Just take a break if you feel no motivation for playing. I sometimes leave it for a year or more, but then come back and play an additional 100 hours.

A pet dog or cat even a parrot or something would be a good addition to the game. Once you clear every single zombie out life should go back to normal like the sims, get a job get a house 😂 or maybe they could make a pre game to the apocalypse so you could choose from the careers and start off playing that for a bit

Just imagine how mutch potential is go to waist by the fact that there’s no NPC…… I mean building a base as great as yours first and then having the ability to build and run a community with NPC survivors would add infinite possibilities to the game We could go scavenge with them, interact with them , assigning role like guards and shift , farmer , care taker, manage them, maybe dealing with some intern beef , taking care of hapiness , spend time with them eating around a fire like in RDR2 for example, taking care of water, food , beds , commodities, moral, Manage ammo / food / meds / material stocks with them Considering crowdy base equals louder noise so more infected would gather around the base with time and could represent an all time issue leading to no ending other than constantly regulate the infected population or getting swarmed and die fighting or manage to escape and start over …. I’m so MAD at that ngl …
