Wow! 8 rainy days in a row! We live in the Midwest and have only had 2-3 rainy nights or days in the last few years!!! We’re so dry. I so enjoyed your “cookie talk” I’m fighting breast cancer and although I’ve had surgery so no more cancer! Thank You Lord!! But there’s alot of slow, long recovery. I’m usually an upbeat person and do really believe God has everything under control. But I’m so tired of the continuous “be careful” “don’t do that” but your offer of a hug, cookie and chat made me cry but feel so much better! You have no idea how much I needed that!! God uses you so much! I pray for your family and your ministry❣️ Love in Christ❤

Megan, your heart is so big and genuine. I feel you take on everyone's burdens and that hurts. You've had a tough year since you had Baylor. Give yourself some grace. I'm glad to see you recognize what's going on and you are trying to fix it. God is going to get you through this rough season. I'm sure it's a season to grow and trust more. I know you know that. Praying for you, your family and your nephew. Hang on to that knot! Love you.

I love your videos. My heart has been so heavy lately as well. I'm in Florida, so between the last 2 hurricanes and election season, I've been so stressed out. I have prayed more than I've prayed my entire life. I read a book recently called the Stuggle is Real. It's a Christian read, and for some reason, that book has made me feel lighter. It goes over so many biblical lives and the struggles they all went through and how God was with them. Highly recommend. I'm definitely making the cinnamon rolls.❤❤❤

Megan you always bring sunshine to my day here in the middle of Nebraska! I can't imagine rain for 11 days as we have not had rain for SO long and all across Nebraska we are in a fire watch due to our high winds and dry land. After watching you for so long I feel like you are a friend whom I so enjoy watching. You are so patient with your boys wanting to help. It's so fun to see your children and how you allow them to be with you in the kitchen. I just joined Costco again but it is 4 hours from us so I don't get their often. When we go see our kids in Omaha I get to go. I mostly go for the paper products and fun items around Christmas. Thank you for sharing your days and family. God bless!!

I just bought groceries this week and spent over $500. I stocked up on canned goods and meat. I was literally out of everything, even condiments. I was astounded at the prices. Ì am blessed to be able to be able to shop. That was just for me. Paper products and dog food added too. I've never felt depressed but the isolation from Covid hit me hard. My doctor asked me how l was doing. I can't believe how honest I was, I said, "Well, I cry a lot." I've stepped away from the news. Helene and Milton has broken my heart. Prayer keeps me grounded. ❤

Sorry - the rainy days were our fault. We came for a month to our beloved Pa. from Arizona and the first 9 days we were there were gloriously gloomy, cloudy, cool, and rainy! We soaked up every minute of it. In Az. where we live, the sun shines about 350 days a year. It was above 112 when we got on the plane and it remained from 110 - 120 the entire time we were in Pa. The sun is relentless. It's hot, it's dry, it hurts my eyes and burns my skin. We've been here over 30 years and we miss rain and clouds so very much!!! We came for our fill and we enjoyed every minute of it. Perspective is a funny thing! Humans are funny as well - we always want what we cannot have, I guess! Anyway, loved the video as always and I hope you get more fall sunshine now that we are back home to Az!

As someone who's been suffering from depression for over half my life, I can tell you that the postpartum variety is no joke. It's probably the worst I've ever felt so far. And I don't want to know what it had been like if I hadn't already been taking SSRIs. And you can use that steamer for any fruit or berries. Ok, maybe not citrus fruit but definitely for apples, pears, raspberries etc.

Another lovely video Megan. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on "rainy days". I'm one of the mom's who had to resort to medication after our 4th was born. The postpartum anxiety did a number on me, my family and my marriage. Luckily I swallowed my pride before any lasting damage was done. And also, I didn't even notice you weren't wearing your veil until you mentioned it. You're an example of light and modesty even without it ❤

Explain how you make the grape juice after you can it. It seems that maybe you made grape concentrate and then add something to what you canned to make a half gallon? I didn’t understand. I must be missing something. Asp I have a steamer like that and I had terrible results when I didn’t take the fruit off the stems. Yours looked clear and lovely. Glad you had better luck than me. I destemmed my grapes the last 2 years and had much better results. Love watching you and your family! Thanks for the great videos.
