Cozy Koozy Mitt | FREE Crochet Pattern Tutorial

The free crochet pattern Cozy Koozy Mitt is the perfect crochet project this season as it makes a great gift for others or for yourself. It takes tailgating up a notch. It's the ultimate Mitt to have in your collection. I'll show you how to crochet this project. What sets it apart from some of the other mitts out there is the fact that it has a bottom section sewn in so that the your beverage will remain secure.

The stitch you're doing are u calling it waistcoat stitch or waistco stitch which is very pretty

I have some super bulky 6 yarn. Is there a way I can adjust the pattern to use this yarn?

You can always adjust patterns, however, you would definitely need to remove some stitches to accommodate for the change in yarn size, otherwise the glove would be far too large.

I would absolutely LOVE to give you the name of the yarn but unfortunately, I can no longer find it. I'm pretty disappointed as I've tried to find it several times myself. I want to say that it was red hard yarn and it was for sure cotton with metallic in it....but I cannot find the exact yarn used. I apologize. I can say that it was worsted weight, however, and most of those yarns would do to complete the project. An acrylic may even work better for stretch and wear. Other than that, I'm so sorry I couldn't be more help. Thank you for watching and commenting!

You're absolutely right! I had to go back and watching because I never said. Sorry about that! I believe it was a size I (5.5 mm). I definitely could've sized down for my smaller hands, however, so feel free to play around with hook size and see what works best for you! Thanks for watching and commenting!
