This reminds me of among trees which was a great game that was abandoned. What is sad is that game was really polished just never finished. I still play it for what it is.

I played the demo today bc they finally fixed the no sticks issue I had with my demo. Edit after watching....I didnt have the slow walk in my demo and I picked up everything I passed. I did get the inventory bug. Luckily it was when I was done playing lol If there is anything after what you did I didnt make it but I think this is it.

@@Miss_Distress Not sure. It was last updated in 2021 I think. I just re-added it to my PC so maybe I'll give it another try. Really enjoyed that game.

The dev said on Steam that he not the dev of Among Trees. Took inspiration from that game, hence similar feel Shame that the devs stopped caring for their game, had great promise

It looks like you are being slowed down because you are getting stuck in building mode. Both times it happened after you pulled out the blueprint to build. And when in building mode, you are slowed down also.

So far I think the game looks pretty, but the world feels very dead and with the limited gameplay it doesn't look like it has much unique things to offer at the moment. compared to other survival games out there this one still seems to need a lot of work.

Currently, it looks like Among Us from the dollar store. But considering Among Us was abandoned, this could definitely fill that game's shoes if they focus on polish and more graphical fidelity. The popping of 3D models in the environment is just jarring and the flat lighting doesn't do it any favors either. So hopefully they'll find the right approach to the visuals soon so that they don't become the next forgotten cozy survival game.
