The ocean at the end of the lane is my favorite book! Really excited for you to read it!!! If you like coraline and end up liking Ocean I recommend graveyard book :) its another story where the protagonist is a kid and I'd call it the middle ground of those books haha

omgosh, I was gonna go see the tree a few weeks ago, but my plans got derailed and ended up going to the American Dream mall instead. I think I have until the 13th to see it tho. But I love that Barnes and Nobles, I used to go to school on 43rd street and would walk alllllll the way down just to go there back in the day. I love that one. They used to have one where the Trader Joe's is now by 23rd street but they closed down 😫. I also loved your story time, it was like you're talking to us on FT. lol. I remember going into that Barnes and Noble for the first time to get out of the cold because I wasn't going to be picked up for another 6 HOURS and I didn't want to leave! But it was during the pandemic where they wouldn't allow people to sit in the cafe for more than 30 minutes :( so I had to wander each aisle slowly... lol
