I am happy for you, thank you for sharing and being vulnerable, I really enjoyed your art today! (always do) I can absolutely relate to the not living life as much due to transportation barriers, I have chronic illnesses and physically cannot drive, AZ is VERRRRYY spread out too, my husband is my transportation, but i hope to try to do some bus rides once in a while, I live in a place that has a stop 2 miles away and is far from everywhere else, so it would be an all day thing 😅 But I do miss the bus sometimes from when I used to take it everywhere where I lived. I would love to live somewhere more walkable!

I love that you actually do the little details last in a painting because I see so many people start with the details and things can get so muddy quickly. Also absolutely flabbergasted at the siamese bb cat. I have a siamese so I love it so much.

Totally feel when you were talking about taking yourself less seriously, it's a weird thing when art becomes your livelihood. There's so much pressure to create and in turn support yourself. I'm a photographer and in the last year I've started to make more time for creative pursuits outside of photography like painting and I've felt so much lighter
