As someone who LOVES squirrels (especially Tasha, Poppy, Mint, Peanut, basically all of them except for stupid Ricky who's the complete opposite of cutie), I'm really excited this new island. Although as far as I know there are 19 of them in the game and they're quite rare to find on mystery islands.

Cozy Oak is such an adorable name! I've never done an island with only one species, but the squirrels are so cute, i think the name def fits an island with a bunch of adorable squirrels eheh

I did an all squirrel island and the cuteness overload was amazing. Love it!!! Looking forward to following along. I’m sad to hear filbert won’t be there. Aside from Marshall and sylvana he’s my fave!!!!

An all squirrel Island sounds cute. I’m currently doing an all duck island, and only have my campsite autofill villager to replace to have all ducks. I highly don’t recommend getting all your squirrels through NMT because it gets harder as you come to the last couple villagers you want. 😩 However, I don’t use amiibo so going villager hunting has been driving me mad. Don’t be me! 😂

I picked up the game for the first time in over a year 😅 started a new island because I couldn't bring myself to face my old villagers and have them shame me for being gone. New island will be a mountain theme, with farm animals as the main villagers, plus as many deer as I can get

I was working on my Japanese/city/forest/horror core island. And I hated it so much. I hated that the community service was so close to the airport. I hated the layout that I had. I hated the name that I chose for it, Imawashii. When I created my island I liked it a lot but now, 2 years later my aesthetic has changed soooo much! I still like the Asian aesthetic but in my real life I’ve fallen in absolute love with the cottage in a forest/whimsical/ethereal/elegant aesthetic. Very much a European aesthetic, which has nothing to do with Japanese aesthetic anymore. I was thinking about just flattening my island out, but then I forgot that my island quite literally had a Japanese name meaning dreadful, unpleasant, uncomfortable etc. So I decided to nuke my whole island. It was sad because I had 900+ hours, 40 million bells and about 80,000 nook miles. And also the icing on top was that the day that I reset my island was my favorite villager Kiki’s birthday. It made it so much more surreal. But I gave her my present and I have her amibo so it’ll be ok 🥲

October The 7th was when I first came into ACNH , but I certainly don’t rush into things from in this game. But I have named my island as: Ashwood Cuz my island is more for the people who really wanna take things nice and slow , but also is willing to be more patient and is also really , wanting to be very passionate about the things , that we make from on the workbenches. And is also wanting to make a system of our own , like right when we do first get our own in game homes. But we do take great pride in what we make from the Workbenches. But we do wanna see things like how others make their things , but totally without rushing and without the speed builds. Like watching things in the natural slow pace.
