I watched every minute of this! So don’t ever think it’s too long!! Those of us that LOVE your voice and style will hang on every second! I have never been into dark and moody, until you came along! The "flimsy" towels look like flour sack dish towels. They are exceptional for drying glasses! They are the only kind I knew growing up in 60s. I still have at least one that my mom embroidered when she was a child in the 30s. They also would be good for stamping words on for embellishments as they are a little thinner than drop cloth

I’m new, this is the 2nd video I’ve viewed of yours. I did stay until the end because I love numbers. Loved all of your creative pieces especially the frames, I have frames-LOTS of frames. I smiled big because of your encouraging pep talk. I want to KZbin but planning and follow through are my weaknesses. I’ve been a booth owner for about 5 years and I have never made as much money as you spoke of. I have lost A LOT of money with this hobby, it truly has been a social experiment for me and my therapist suggested it as a way to get me out of isolation so in that aspect it has been worth it. Thank you for sharing your gift and craft and thank you for the much needed encouragement. ❤

I love that last cloche! Really cute idea's Sharon. And I so appreciate you actually going through your profits with your booth & perfect timing for me. I work full time & it's great that you are sharing the realities of what it takes to not only create & source your items but also how much time it takes to maintain your booth. This may not be viable for me yet ( as I inquired just yesterday at a place & they start at $200 & take 16% ) but I'll keep watching as I love your creativity & your positivity and encouragement!!!!. Again really appreciate you Sharon taking the time to share all this with your audience.

You are so very welcome! Remember you don't need a booth, you can always ask them if they have a shelf or hutch you can rent. I started out in a hutch for $60 a month! Thank you so very much for your wonderful comment.

@@CozyJunkStudio Yes there's another place I looked at a few years ago & they started at $98 for their glass cases(have no idea if they have shelves or cases)but again thank you for the advise as I wouldn't of known to even inquire about something that small. Appreciate your feedback!!

Right, in Colorado, these are everywhere, but the starting prices are crazy insane! We have the Armadillo Antique mall which is the size of a Walmart and then we have small places that just say Antique! I have purchased so many of my favorite pieces of art and furniture from one in Northglenn, Colorado on Melody drive. I know that if I go in there, I am leaving with something! LOL 😆

@@CozyJunkStudioOMGOSH, I never even considered that! Thank you so much!

@@YayasWhimsicalBrush Yes it was the Brass Armadillo Antique mall & it's kind of big (& not in the best area) that the glass cases are in that charged $98. That was in 2019 so probably has gone up. That's where I first started buying DIY paint. But I like Sharon's idea of seeing if you can just rent a shelf or hutch as I too never thought of that & I don't have much more than that right now anyway.

You should keep doing the flour towels. They become a favorite in all kitchens as well as holiday decor for baskets tree wraps drapping in pot baskets crocks. I use them constantly. I've made many for Years in this old country farm. I have 2 aunts who want my old ones when I make new ones. Lol so at Christmas I make them some. I also have cut them in half to make 2 kitchen towels from one wash them first before making 2 from one flour towels you'll double your proof since a set is still beloved by shoppers. I can't tell you how much I appreciate seeing the full circle of creating to selling. I am an avid crafter, and what I don't keep for my home, I happily give away. Came across channel today. Enjoyed watching several, yes several, of your videos today. Had to get shot in ankle this am so I hoped in recliner, put foot up on pillow& grab heating pad. No popcorn though☹️. Then binged. Thanks!

Another round of great projects! I'm drawn to ravens because of Poe!! I'd have to put all that data into an Excel spreadsheet 😂. TYFS 🥰

Btw, I really appreciate the transparency on your booth profits....I have a small showcase right now of smalls that I have upcycled/made, but I'm on the fence about getting a larger booth. It is over twice as much "rent" and I'm concerned about making enough for it to be sustainable. You've given a lot of good information! Thank you!

I always remember I can't make enough items to fill my booth so I need to have other things and smalls, smalls, smalls, my paper items and junk packs pay my rent! You are very welcome!

Well, don't I feel silly!? In another video I asked you questions related to the marketing and selling of your gorgeous creations while all my answers lie here. It proves I haven't watched all your videos, but it's also a testament to how impressive you are; instantly I fell in love and couldn't keep it together. All that to say thank you.

I'm new here. Opening up a brick and mortar store this week. Eek! I paint furniture but I'm renting out shelves to local, Eco-friendly crafters. This may flop but I got some good ideas today. Thanks!

WELCOME!!! So happy you are here! Congratulations! Promote your business, constantly rearrange things, add new things here and there, buy/invest in one of a kind large eye catching pieces that you may never sell but people are drawn in to look at, , have plenty of small items to help pay the bills and you will be successful! Wishing you luck! Thank you for commenting and watching.
