1. Read his patterns 2. Go for grabs. Don't feed Arsene or get Tetra/Makarakarn'd 3. Spot dodge, stay mobile/hard to grab 4. Don't be afraid of Arsene. If you can scrap you can win. If you can't scrap then you need to get better at scrapping 😂🤣

I agree that people "camp out Arsene" too much when most characters should be more aggressive. It's true that Arsene buffs his normals, but the Eiha to Eiagon buff is huge for covering space and sometimes people just decide to give you so much stage control by running away. Also glad you mentioned the up B air stalling. I feel like non-Joker players often don't know he can do that and it really throws people off if you use it once a match or two. I've definitely had people just run off and put themselves in a bad spot because they think he has to recover low.

i feel like u shouldn’t fear arsene; but moreso respect it. you dont have to fight him all out, but u shouldnt run away either. a mixture of defense and offense is key imo

I struggle with getting kills so bad. I sometimes end up getting my opponents to 210%+. What can I do to improve that? I avoid smash attacks because they can be punished so easily

watch my video series on Neutral, Advantage, and Disadvantage! i would suggest watching “understanding joker’s neutral” first since it seems like you’re having trouble landing hits, and neutral is the main way to get a hit. watch those and hopefully they will help u! :D

@@CozyyPR Thanks for the suggestion but it didnt help that much. I dont struggle with getting hits that much, but rather with finnishing stocks. Its easy enough with Arsenne, but I never find the appropriate move once I get my opponent to kill percent. I heavily rely on stopping recoveries and Arsenne

@@darklightmotion5534 well spaced back airs, have them be to cover jumps by fullhopping, or to cover defensive options like rolls and spotdodges by shorthop fastfalling back air. use guns to stuff approaches, try not to use dash attack too much

I didn't really understand by what you meant about holding shield and Up B for option select. Is that while getting hit during your Up B? Been bingeing on your videos of joker man! I just picked him up and trying to learn everything I can. keep it up!

while during hitstun, if u hold both the recovery and shield (up B + tech) the game will always give u the correct option! due to the buffer system and because there is an invisible priority list in this game that prioritizes shield before special moves (B moves) so because of this the game will automatically give u the correct option if u simply hold both! 😁

A mistake i've seen is that at around 7 minutes you implied that respawn invincibility gets shortened the more you wait before dropping down. This is not true because the only moment you're going to get way less s is when you waited too long and are forced to drop off the platform.

i’m pretty sure the longer you stay on the respawn platform, the less invincibility you have when dropping down. i dont think it has to do with staying there until you are forced to drop off. being forced to drop off gives you the least amount of i-frames, yes, but hanging up there and willingly dropping down before being forced also reduces your i-frames; but not as much as if you maxed out the time and are forced to drop down. i could be wrong tho! but im pretty sure thats how it works 😁

whoa...Did I hear you right at 7:44 that shield + up + B will give you an option select for wall tech vs wall grab? If so, how have I never read that? Can’t count the times I have buffered a tech only to end up not getting hit and then neutral air dodging to my death.
