nice work 👍 Can you tell if pump has demage on main shaft, you know the common problem when pump releases metal shawings.. Is it possible to replace it with a new one ? Is it possible to order new shaft ant that roller ?
@nos004 ай бұрын
We sell both refurbished and genuine pumps, but the shaft and roller cannot be ordered separately.

Hello, i noticed that my fuel pump is leaking. It is this type - cp4. My car is 3.0 tdi audi a5 2010 176kw. Any idea/tips from where is it leaking ? Becouse i searched across web and could not find anything about leaking. Mainly, people are complaining about iron shards issue, but not a single one was complained about leaking... Btw, it is common rail system powered with serpentine belt on the front of engine so it is easily accessable. What i did was that i removed intake manifold and removed cover of the serpentine belt which powers pump, there i could see that the front part of the pump was wet, and also bottom of intake manifold - which is right above pump. So i guess the pressure is high when it is spraying like that everywhere. I did that a couple days ago, checked every nut, each hose screw that comes in and out of pump, also washed everything... But today when i checked it was greasy again and smell of diesel was very strong. I dont know what to do, so i hope you can help me by giving some tips and advices from where can it leak. Is it a gasket / seals / o rings or something more complicated. And also if I will be able to rebuild it myself - to replace all seals if needed, or should look for professional...

I've never seen a CP4 pump leak before. If a CP4 pump leaks, it could occur at the breather hole located near the shaft. You can suspect two things: the oil seal inside the pump may be defective. However, without actually seeing the situation, it’s difficult to provide a definitive answer. Please consider this information as a reference only.

Is there any way for a machine shop to drill a hole between the piston and wall interface to install a pin? To prevent these terrible things from rotating and grenading?
@nos0011 ай бұрын
Is it not challenging to drill holes directly and install pins? While issues such as metal debris due to roller rotation can occur, the majority of faults are like this. Problems often arise because the oil cannot maintain the correct viscosity at high temperatures, leading to improper lubrication. It is recommended to always keep the vehicle's oil level above half on the gauge.

love your work man, can i just remove the plunger to check and clean roller just without removing the hp pump from tha car ? thank you for your videos man :)
@nos002 ай бұрын
For Hyundai and Kia vehicles, I can remove the intake manifold and disassemble the plunger to clean the roller, but reassembly seems challenging. You need to press the plunger while reassembling, and I’m not sure if I’ll have the strength to press it properly.

Hi, i have the same pump on a kia 1.6 crdi , the engine ask for about 280bars at idle but my rail pressure fluctuates about 50 bars under , picking up to right pressure then dropping back down , after a few hours car cranking a bit longer like the pump ain't primed anymore , lambda sensors showing car is running lean too , dpf ask for often regens , what could cause that ? It does raise pressure to 1500 bars no issue when giving throttle,problem is just that is fluctuating , not giving constant pressure . Please help. Thanks

Pressure sensor on the fuel pump giving 2.6 ohms reading, tried it electrically and i can hear it clicking .
@nos00 Жыл бұрын
Changing of pressure caused by IMV valve on fuel pump. This is major problem but secondary it might be injector malfunction if your car can throttle up to 1500 bar fuel pump itself is working. This engine reported a lot of cases copper wasser brake so it cause damage injector nozzle and nozzle cap so spray pattern goes wrong. So check IMV valve first. We didn't saw actual your car this is not a solution, just advice.

can the valve (on the high pressure outlet) in the pump head be replaced?
@nos009 ай бұрын
no, but it is possible to change entire piston set.
@Rebasandofronteras Жыл бұрын
What problems would this cause?
@nos00 Жыл бұрын
Piston cannot generate enough pressure. because it has damaged by metal powder.

You dont show how to remove the Spring of ivm????
@nos008 ай бұрын
If the spring inside the IMV valve moves well, it doesn't need to be removed.
