I love that someone asked about using the AL for non-AL questions. I did that on REG and it was a huge benefit. I knew I hadn't memorized something and when I saw it on a SIM my heart stopped for a few seconds. Then I remembered that all the answers would be in the AL. I was so thankful.

You're in the same boat I was floating in then - audit is hard! Hopefully you knocked it out and can be done! It took me four tries to get through that exam :') Glad I can help inspire others to make it through!

Your answer to question 5 gave me so much hope just now, I took intermediate 1 and 2 during COVID-19 and I had some online help during my exams along with knowing how to do it myself and really trying to study hard. Our professor gave 15 questions for 1 and half hours and it scares me sometimes. I just want to be sure I am smart enough. Then my sophomore year I failed like almost every tax quiz lol. This helps me a lot I want to really study for my exams effectively next year. I know i can do it just in my class she gave us way too much for limited time.

Hey Heaven, I love watching your videos, and you are such a great personality. You really give me positive feelings towards the end game. I started my job at a big four back in June in NYC. I really dont like the work, the busy season has been absolutely insane. 70 hours a week on average since July. Thank god its over on september 15. Im in investment management group and i really dont like the work. Id like to eventually leave NY. I love the south, and id like to get some kind of government job. Hows the job market in knoxville? Im thinking about working for the IRS or US army as a managerial accountant. What do you think? Are there jobs in tennesse? Also btw- i passed far and reg. But still need audit and bec. I hate audit, i failed it miserably but i plan to take it again in october :). Also fyi- im treating myself to a vacation in nashville (again) in december :)

Thank you! I'm in the process of editing a video talking more about my job as a State Auditor and what all it entails. It may help answer some questions you have. I hope you're able to find the right job for you here soon. I don't know how anybody works those long hours for so long. But it's great for the resume. Enjoy your vacation to Nashville!

Hi there, i have a random question. How do you get all your notes in one place in a note book? We have notes taken from the lecture, read the book and practice questions into one notebook? I see all the CPA students have one note book and have all the notes in one place. Can you please share some ideas.
@HeavensAudventure5 жыл бұрын
I never took many notes. I kept my laptop with me for the lectures, and the textbook for writing down what the lecturer recommended. I've seen where people keep a separate binder for each section of the exam and keep notes in there. Or they keep a spiral notebook for each exam. Either way, there's a lot of material to keep track of!

Thank you so much for answering my question, Heaven! Have a great time in Africa. I grew up in West Africa and I know first hand Africa will love you. Safe Travels. God Bless! One last question regarding Becker's simulations. How do you approach these? Do you practice them two weeks before the exam or practice them after completing all the modules in each unit? Please advise.
@HeavensAudventure5 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much, I am so excited for my trip to Africa. I practiced the simulations as I came across them in the module I was studying. Then, as I reviewed at the very end before my exam, I redid all the simulations. Occasionally, I would add SIMs in my practice test for additional practice. Good luck!!

How many attempts did you make regarding the 4 exams? What was the total time in between first and last exam ( where u passed last) ?
@HeavensAudventure5 жыл бұрын
Maverick Supersonic I started studying for the exams January 2, 2018 and passed the last one on June 19, 2019. It took a total of 18 months but that includes the first 3 exams I failed. I passed all 4 within a 9 month window.

Being 42, do you think it is still not too late taking the CPA? In US does an older CPA could still get you good opportunity or could they stand against the younger CPAs?
@jacquelinebaptiste46145 жыл бұрын
I did it at 47. You can do it. I got hired after graduation with a mid-term firm. It is worth it. I was not concern with getting hired. I did not compare myself with any one else. One of the reasons they hire me was because I was older and had life experiences, i.e. I'm a mom. LOL. Bottom line, go for it if you really want it. You are your only hindrance.

John Clinton I never really took any notes except in BEC - and those notes were only pages of loose computer paper that I kept in my textbook. I just always had my textbook and laptop to study. I wrote side notes in my textbook but never kept a separate notebook of notes
