Mate,, I bought one of these things after seeing your video from the link below,, and even used your coupon code The company that sold it was friendly and appreciate of my purchase and I got it less than a week after ordering it This mask is great!!! a lot less bulky than my previous mask, it does not feel as "intrusive" , Its also a lot more quiet and gives me a better nights sleep. BTW - I do not work for F&P.

Great review. I feel F&P have done an awesome job with this mask. I personally found the seal to be superior to the F30i, and the strap tightness required to maintain that seal comfortable at high pressures. This is F&P's new best mask hands down I reckon. If there is one real weakness it is the thinnest part of the mouth section where the cushion seals below the lip - Nico was right to highlight that. I think that is where the seal may go sooner than later - we will see. Overall it feels both ultra light and a little fragile, but durability so far has been fine. Don't get me wrong though - the lightness and general freedom this mask offers is 10/10. Right now I love this mask, but I am going to wait and see if it is going to let me down after a couple of months - which I felt the F30i did a little (and I tested several of those.) I'm not entering the comp as I already have one.

Been using this mask for a couple of months, much better than other full face masks which squashed my nose and aggravated the skin on my cheeks. Much more comfortable. I'm 20 y/o and was just diagnosed with sleep apnea. I'm still waiting for my cpap to come in, but in the meantime I've been watching your videos. For a name for this mask, I think it should be the K-NURT. It's Trunk backward to fit with the ESON naming.

Love it brother. Good luck with the therapy. Being so young do you mind telling me what your AHI levels were when you got diagnosed? Cheers. Nick
@isaacgates58593 жыл бұрын
@CPAP Reviews It was 11.1 per hour, 80 for the full night. Despite it being considered mild, my symptoms have been quite intense. I barely have any motivation. When it's really bad, I have anxiety attacks.At least once a month, I'll wake up with atrial flutter; that's been the most concerning thing.
@DoubtingThomas3333 жыл бұрын
@@isaacgates5859 I'd be testing for other things too my friend. Especially deficiencies of any sort. Get your iron, b and d vitamins optimal. The pathology ranges are very basic, if you talk to a hematologist, they'll probably tell you why they're all quite controversial as they are. With such mild AHI, i would be seeing what your blood oxygen saturation was like (if it didn't drop below 90%, then I'd even question being on cpap therapy). Other than that, try a tongue retainer, you'll probably get all the benefit of an expensive cpap machine for lunch money and convenience.
@isaacgates58593 жыл бұрын
@Thomas when I first went to the hospital with the arrhythmia they checked all my vitamins, and they all came back perfect. While my AHI was rather mild, I know it can vary depending on the night, so I wonder if I had the sleep study on a different day if it wouldn't come back higher. I also check all the risk factors for sleep apnea except for age: I'm male, obese, and a lot of family on my fathers side has it, including him. My insurance is also covering most of the cost of the cpap. Hopefully, it'll help a lot, but I definitely think it's worth trying given the situation.
@DoubtingThomas3333 жыл бұрын
@@isaacgates5859 I'd say the heart issue is unrelated to your mild sleep apnoea. I had severe undiagnosed sleep apnoea for 20+ years, with no heart issues. At the end of the day if your AHI is low, and your blood oxygen saturation is within healthy ranges, cpap therapy is overkill.

Finally did get the Evora. On one level I like it. But the Resmed is quieter. Somehow - the Evora transfer or transmit blower nose thru the hose to the mask. I am very hard of hearing - so I'm not talking about sound. I am referring to vibration. The Resmed F30 is practically silent.

I love my Evora nasal mask, but I'm always looking for a full face mask that will work for me, and I have really high hopes for this mask. My entry for the name is F & P's Laud Lasan Acob; which is Dual Nasal Boca, with each word backwards, (boca is Spanish for mouth). I am an active sleeper, meaning I roll side to side. I wake up with the hose crinkled in my neck, under my shoulder, etc. Royal Pain. I wish the hose at the mask DID swivel, might help the tugging. I ordered a mask that comes out on top. Here's hoping for a better sleep. Also, I used an extra plastic beveled sink ring, tacked it on the wall above my bed... slides the hose fairly easily. I still get caught in it, though. LoL This is my first mask. It's a hard learning curve. But I'm going to keep the mask and when I have a cold it will be my go-to. But I do lay on my side so I do have leaks and the noise is irritating.

After seeing this review, I purchased the Evora full face mask. Fitment-wise, the Evora is much better than my Resmed Air Touch F20 and there's no leaks but the mask doesn't hold pressure as well as the F20. At pressures between 4 and 20 there's a considerable amount of air that comes out of the exhalation holes which is being forced out by the pressure and not my exhalation. For me, I'll test it for another night or two to see how my sleephq numbers are affected but I think I'll end up going back to the F20.

I had really high hopes for this mask but I had exactly the same issue. Pressure was much lower and my sleep definitely suffered as a result. Any increase in pressure to counter this just made the mask noisier, my wife hated this mask as a result. I've since gone back to my Resmed. Mask profile was excellent and fit was slightly better for me than my Resmed but ultimately it failed and my sleep apnea came back.

I’d vote for Minima (a decent name for a minimal-contact FFM) Or I’m thinking they could have called it the Bettera, who doesn’t want a BETTER CPAP mask; but I suspect the Evora Full name will stick. Like the Amara View, which I’m pretty sure is more popular than the Amara mask ever was. I’m glad someone has finally released an aftermarket quick-release! The vent holes… that problem has already been solved, I hate those stupid things. Some nasal masks come with a vent built into the elbow on the front, with a little clip-on diffuser. I think the Bleep Dreamport has something like that too. When I can get one of these, I’ll just tape a sliver of cpap filter over them. Now if we could just get an aftermarket one of those (little piece of tube with a diffuser) we’d almost be set. Has anyone tried integrating a chin strap into a nasal mask? Seems like a nasal mask (or even full-face) with a little loop on bottom to keep your mouth shut would help fix dry mouth for folks, too.

A while back I bought the Philips Amara View. It sits practically new in my drawer. One of the many “good idea at the time $100 ouchy”. Why is this one better? Design looks identical.

I'm a big fan of the Evora nasal mask and I've been using it for a year. Since they're releasing this Evora Full I'm hoping they'll make a connector for the Evora Nasal that will have nasal pillows along the same design as the Brevida, my previous favorite. I totally agree with you on the holes. I LOVE the diffused cover of the vent on the Brevida and the holes on the Evora are fine, but I still get some whistling sometimes or at least a rushing wind sound along with some air bouncing off my pillow onto my face. Not a dealbreaker, but still annoying.

How does it work with facial hair? Is it pretty good with leaks? I haven’t been able to try one yet

Is it normal to feel air coming out where the tube connects to the mask?

when using this mask and the resmed autosense 10. Do I put this on "full mask" or "pillow" setting? Would it be any quieter on "pillow" setting? I find this mask a lot nosier than the resmed f20. with silent elbow thing.

Ten days into receiving this mask. I’ve tried & tried to get thru the discomfort of those side hard plastic “wings” next to my nose. I’m a side sleeper and the plastic digs into my face. Painful red marks either side of my nose in the morning, How do you all not have this discomfort of the hunky hard plastic on your face?

One major design flaw. The tube from the mask to the heated tube hook up is crazy long and if you need heated humidity, you get massive rain out as the warm moist air cools in the very long non heated tube. Super crazy. Why so long? I am going to try a cozy wrap. But last night water was dripping out of the mask and my head gear was all wet Fit wonderfully though with no leaks. F&P needs to make us a short tube.

Greetings from Osaka and Happy New year. I'm using FP Vitera and I like it. After watching your "pressure" video I've been playing around with my pressure. Last night I was at cm H20 8 and my AHI was 4.8. Tonight I'll try 8.5 cm H20. I'm interested in the Evora and can buy from Australia. 🤔 Cheers
